Nehra picks up two wickets, first having Zondo (9) caught by Raina at long-off and then cleaning up Frylinck (6) with a perfect yorker.

Bravo ends with impressive figures of two for 17. 

Mohit to bowl the final over of the innings, with Chennai needing a whopping 66 runs. They manage 11. 

Chennai win by 54 runs, thereby recording their first win.

Dwayne Bravo replaces Jadeja (2-0-24-0) in the attack in the 11th over. He strikes second ball, having Chetty (37) caught by Mohit Sharma at deep square leg. 

Bravo strikes again in his second over, having Vaughn van Jaarsveld (30) caught by Dwayne Smith at long-on.

Darryn Smit is the new man in. He is run out by Dhoni having faced just three balls.

Nehra gives away just two runs in his second over. Ravindra Jadeja replaces Ashwin (2-0-26-1) in the attack in the sixth over and Chetty welcomes him with successive sixes.

Dolphins manage 85 for two after six overs.

Mohit Sharma returns to bowl in the seventh over and cleans up Maharaj (8) with his last ball.

Dolphins reach the 100-run mark in the ninth over.

Morne van Wyk and Cameron Delport open the batting for Dolphins and it will be Ashish Nehra first up for Chennai. It's an expensive over, 20 runs coming off it with Delport hitting two boundaries and a six.

R Ashwin to bowl the second over. Van Wyk (17) hits him for a couple of boundaries and a huge six over long-on. However, Ashwin has the last laugh having the batsman out leg before. 

Cody Chetty is the new man in. 

Delport continues with his aggression. A six over long-off, followed by successive boundaries, helps Dolphins register the fastest fifty in T20 history, off just 2.3 overs. 

However, Mohit Sharma eventually cleans up Delport (34 off nine balls).

Dwayne Bravo replaces his captain at the crease. However, it is Du Plessis who carries on with his amazing form, smashing Alexander for a boundary over extra cover followed by a six over cover. 

However, the extravagance eventually costs Du Plessis (30) his wicket, as he holes out to Martin van Jaarsveld at long-on.

In comes Ravindra Jadeja, and smashes two sixes off the first two balls he faces, off Maharaj, the second helping Chennai get past the 200-run mark. 

Chennai eventually manage 242 for six in their stipulated 20 overs.

Jadeja remains unbeaten on 40, his 14-ball innings inclusive of three sixes and an equal number of boundaries.

Chennai reach the 150-run mark in the 13th over, a single by Du Plessis also raising the 50-run partnership for the third wicket.

Raina's blitzkrieg finally ends when he miscues a Frylinck delivery and Delport takes a catch at point

Raina's 43-ball 90 was inclusive of four boundaries and eight big sixes and he helped Du Plessis add 65 runs (off 36 balls) for the third wicket.

Chennai: 140-2 (12 overs)

Faf du Plessis is the new man in. Meanwhile, Chennai have broken the record for the fastest 100 in Champions League T20, reaching the mark in just 8.4 overs.

Zondo, having bowled a brilliant first over, is expensive in his second. Raina smashes the second ball over long on for his fifth six, the shot helping the batsman reach a well-deserved fifty. 

Raina celebrates it with a boundary past short fine leg as 15 runs come off the over. He also gets a couple of sixes in Maharaj's third over, both over square leg.

Chennai: 103-2 (9 overs)

Frylinck returns to bowl his second over. His first cost the Dolphins 16 runs. His second costs 10 runs, with Raina smashing a six over midwicket. 

Khaya Zondo comes in to bowl the ninth over and strikes with his second ball, having McCullum caught by Smit at deep midwicket.

McCullum's 28-ball 49 was inclusive of five hits to the fence and three over it and he helped Raina add 91 runs (off just 45 balls) for the second wicket.

Chennai: 89-1 (7 overs)

It's four changes in four overs for Dolphin with Robbie Frylink the latest one. Raina welcomes him with a boundary over cover with McCullum hitting successive boundaries in the over.

Abbott is back to bowl the fifth over and McCullum helps himself to two huge sixes in the over, the first helping Chennai get past the 50-run mark, the second raising the 50-run partnership for the second wicket.
 
In the first six overs, Chennai manage 70 runs for the loss of Smith.

Andile Phehlukwayo to bowl the seventh over. It's an expensive one, 19 coming off it, with McCullum finding the fence off the first ball and Raina smashing the third for a huge six over deep square leg and the sixth for another over the same area.

Suresh Raina is the new man in. He begins with a boundary off Kyle Abbott.
