Bangalore 87-0 (9 ovs) vs Delhi 95 | Scorecard

Angelo Mathews comes into the attack with nine runs needed from 11 overs for victory.

Gayle pulls the first ball powerfully straight to Duminy at midwicket who fails to hold on to the sharp chance. Kohli is content to take singles and bring Gayle back on strike, who plays another pull but gets one to deep midwicket.

Just three runs from the over takes RCB to 90 for no loss in 10 overs.

Coulter-Nile comes back as Gayle looks to end it with a bang but mistimes his left and gets a single down the ground.

Kohli comes down the track but gets a thick outside edge which flies past the first slip fielder for a four to level scores.

He smashes the next ball down the ground for a cracking boundary to finish off the match in grand style.

Bangalore cruise to 99 for no loss in 10.3 overs to win by 10 wickets with 57 deliveries to spare.

Bangalore dominated right from the word go and Delhi were never in contest at any stage to suffer their eight loss in a row to RCB.

Gayle is no mood to stop as he comes down the track to Mishra and lofts it straight down the ground for a huge six. In the same over, Kohli pulls a short ball square on the leg side for a four as Iyer messes up on the boundary as 14 runs come from the over.

Bangalore 73-0 (8 ovs) vs Delhi 95 | Scorecard

Delhi take a gamble as captain Duminy brings himself into the attack to bowl his part-time off-spin.

Gayle smashes the second ball powerfully past mid-off for a four and then takes a single to long-on two balls later.

A single to Kohli takes RCB to 50 for no loss after six overs.

Leg-spinner Amit Mishra comes into the attack. Kohli decides to join the party as he comes down the track and plays the inside out drive through the covers for a four. The next ball is flicked off the backfoot through midwicket for another four. He repeats the shot off the next delivery but can only get a single this time as the fielder has enough time to run around and stop it.

Two more singles get RCB 11 runs from Mishra's first over.

Tahir comes back and Kohli hits another boundary as he opens the face of the bat and steers it between point and short thirdman fielder. Two balls later, Gayle heaves it over midwicket for a six to bring up his fifty, from 29 balls.

Bangalore 43-0 (5 ovs) vs Delhi 95 | Scorecard

Delhi introduce spin early as they bring in their best bowler into the attack, in the form of leg-spinner Imran Tahir.

Gayle slog sweeps the second ball square on the leg side for a four and picks a single from the next.

Three singles from the last three balls as Tahir goes for eight in his first over.

Coulter-Nile tests Gayle with a good short ball who takes his eyes off the ball but still manages to pull it behind square on the leg side for a four. The next ball is pitched up and Gayle is ready for it as he smashes it over the off-side for a six.

Gayle has smashed his way to 38 from 24 balls, while Kohli is on four as RCB race to 43 for no loss in five overs.

Domnic Joseph to bowl the second over. The third ball is lofted straight down the ground over long-off for a six before he clubs the next one through midwicket for a four. The last ball is overpitched and Gayle punches it along the ground straight back past the bowler for a four as 14 runs come from the over.

Virat Kohli finally gets the strike, in the third over. He takes a single from the second ball to bring Gayle back on strike. The West Indian opener is no mood to take it easy despite a small target to chase as he slaps the fourth ball through the covers for a four followed by a single.
22:01

Bangalore 4-0 (1 ov) vs Delhi 95 | Scorecard

The dangerous opening duo of Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli to open the batting for RCB. If either of them gets their eye in, the lowly target of 96 could be chased down rather quickly.

Nathan Coulter-Nile to bowl the first over and it remains to be seen if he goes for wickets with the new ball or just look to be defensive against Gayle, who is playing his 200th T20 match.

Gayle is watchful to begin with as he plays four dot balls in a row before he gets off the mark with two runs courtesy of a misfield on the leg side. He retains strike with a single from the last ball as four runs come from the first over.

21:44   RCB pacers Starc, Aaron send Delhi crashing for 95
Delhi 95-all out (18.2 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

And if you think it can't get any worse for Delhi, a lazy piece of running costs them their final wicket as Domnic is run out for one.

Delhi have crashed for a paltry 95 in 18.2 overs as they fail to even last the 20 overs.

Except for Jadhav (33) and Agarwal (27) no other Delhi batsmen even managed to cross the 20-run mark.

Starc started the rot with the early wicket of Iyer and then destroyed the tailenders with his quick yorkers to finish with three for 20, while Aaron's extra pace saw him claim two for 24.

David Wiese also chipped with two for 18 and Harshal and Abulla got a wicket each.
21:37
Delhi 94-9 (18 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Harshal comes from the round the wicket as Jadhav fails to make most of a full toss and drives it straight to the fielder at point.

But the next ball is short as Jadhav pulls it straight to Starc at deep midwicket to fall for 33 as Delhi's miserable night with the bat continues.

Last man Domnic Joseph walks out to bat with 16 deliveries still left in the innings. Will the last pair taking Delhi past 100 atleast?
21:33
Delhi 92-8 (17 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Abdulla ends his excellent spell with another tidy over, conceding just five to finish with impressive figures of one for 17 in four overs.

Starc uses the yorker to deadly effect yet again and this time it is Shahbaz Nadeem, who is beaten all ends up and is bowled for two.

Imran Tahir gets a full toss as he steers it to thirdman for a single to get off the mark.

Another single to Jadhav at deep midwicket as Starc finishes with superb figures of three for 20 in four overs.
21:21   Delhi's batsmen flop, Bangalore in control
Delhi 85-7 (15 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Starc comes back as RCB decide to go for the kill and finish off Delhi's lower order. But Jadhav has decided to attack the fast bowler as he smashes the second ball through the covers for a four and then hits a full toss past point for the same result.

The next ball is again smashed through the off-side but Gayle's diving save at point keeps it down to one.

Starc strikes with the last ball of the over with a quick yorker from round the wickets as Amit Mishra is bowled for two.
21:16   Regular wickets leave Delhi Daredevils in a mess
Delhi 75-6 (14 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Delhi's batsmen are all at sea. Jadhav walks across and turns it to short fine leg but turns down the run as Coulter-Nile has come all the way down but the throw is at the wrong end and the chances goes begging.

Coulter-Nile hammers pacer Wiese through the covers for a four but the bowler gets revenge from the next ball.

He looks to heave it on the leg side but is foxed by the clever change of pace from Wiese to be trapped leg before wicket for four.

21:13   Agarwal out for 27 as Delhi continue to slip
Delhi 67-5 (13 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Patel comes back. The first ball is short as Jadhav hammers it through the covers for his second four. Four more singles make it eight runs from the over as Delhi look to gradually get their innings back on track.

However, Abdulla makes it worse for Delhi with the wicket of Agarwal. The right-hander comes down the track but is beaten in the flight and is stumped for 27.

A superb over from Abdulla as Nathan Coulter-Nile defends the rest of the over to give away a wicket maiden as Delhi slip to 67 for five after 13 overs.
20:58
Delhi 54-4 (10 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Left-arm spinner Iqbal Abdulla comes into the attack. He nearly produces a wicket out of nothing as he stops Jadhav's straight drive and flicks it back on to the stumps and Agarwal does well to get back to his crease. Delhi looking to get their innings back on track with some cautious batting as they take just three runs from Abdulla's first over.

Kohli decides to persist with Aaron, who will finish off his spell here. Agarwal attempts to pull a short ball but mishits it on the leg side and gets just a single to fine leg. Jadhav gets one more from the next ball as Aaron finishes with good figures of two for 24 in four overs, having given just four runs in his last two overs.

Jadhav turns Abdulla on the leg side for a couple and later in the over paddles the quicker delivery fine for a boundary.

After 10 overs, Delhi struggle to 54 for four with Agarwal on 22 from 28 balls and Jadhav on 10 from 11 balls.
20:44   Aaron's double strike leaves Delhi in tatters
Delhi 40-4 (7 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Aaron comes back for his second spell and he gets the wicket of left-hander Yuvraj, who gets an edge and is caught behind for two.

The extra pace and bounce from Aaron did the trick as Yuvraj poked at one outside the off-stump only to get a regulation edge straight to the keeper.

Aaron cripples Delhi further with the wicket of Angelo Mathews, who looks to turn it on the leg side but gets a leading edge which pops up on the leg side and is caught by AB de Villiers for a duck.

Kedar Jadhav gets an edge off the last ball of the over as he also throws his bat at wide one but fortunately for Delhi it falls short of wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik, which is confirmed by the third umpire.
20:34   Duminy out for 13, Delhi in trouble after early wickets
Delhi 38-2 (6 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Aaron struggling with his line as he bowls a leg side wide to Duminy and he does the same with the next ball but this time the left-hander has a go only to get a bottom edge for a four fine on the leg side.

The last ball is short as Agarwal goes for the pull shot and gets a top edge but the extra pace of Aaron meant that the ball carried over the leg side for a six.

Medium pacer Harshal Patel comes into the attack in place of Starc, who bowled a good first spell of one for eight in two overs.

He makes a tidy start, conceding just four singles in his first over.

A double bowling change for RCB as David Wiese is introduced in place of Aaron, who went for 20 runs in his two overs.

He strikes in his very first over with the key wicket of Duminy, who throws his bat at a short and wide delivery only to get a bottom edge and is caught behind for 13.

Yuvraj Singh plays a similar shot first up but is lucky that he didnt get the edge. He slaps the last ball through the covers to get off the mark with two runs as Aaron makes a good stop on the ropes.

Delhi are 38 for two in six overs.
20:19
Delhi 17-1 (3 ovs) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Varun Aaron, who is back in the RCB team, will bowl the second over. JP Duminy has a close shave as he is sent halfway down the pitch trying to look for a run but the fielder at point misses the direct hit. He tries to drive the next ball but gets it off the inside half of the bat as it goes for a boundary through the midwicket region.

Duminy is struck high on the pads by a quick delivery from Starc as RCB make a muted appeal as Delhi take a leg bye before Agarwal takes another run to make it eight from the over.

Agarwal drives a wide delivery but fails to find the gap as it falls short of AB de Villiers in the covers. The next ball is another quick yorker which shapes in sharply as Agarwal is struck on the toes but the ball is sliding down the leg side.

Two balls later, Duminy plays a lovely drive through the covers for his first boundary. The next ball is clipped through midwicket for a couple by the Delh captain as the hosts reach 17 for one in three overs.
20:10   Starc strikes in first over, Delhi lose early wicket
Delhi 2-1 (1 ov) vs Bangalore | Scorecard

Mitchell Starc to open the bowling for Royal Challengers Bangalore, while the two youngsters -- Mayank Agarwal and Shreyas Iyer walk out to open the batting for hosts Delhi Daredevils.

Agarwal is beaten off the second delivery before he takes a single from the fourth ball.

Starc strikes in the first over with the wicket of the in-form Iyer, who is trapped leg before wicket by a quick yorker from Starc.

A superb start from Starc as Delhi are reduced to two for one after the first over.

19:55   RCB elect to bowl vs Delhi, KKR-Royals tie washed out
Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has won the toss and elected to bowl against Delhi Daredevils at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi, on Sunday.

Bangalore made one change to their team as Yuzvendra Chahal is left out because of injury as fast bowler Varun Aaron comes into his place.

Meanwhile, hosts Delhi are unchanged.

Earlier, the first match of the day between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata was washed out because of heavy rain without a single ball being bowled.
19:20
Heavy rains at the start had its effect on the ground conditions as well as mouth watering clash between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders has been called off.

The groundsmen worked pretty hard for the outfield to get ready, but couldn't get the entire water off the surface.

In the end umpires thought it would be best to call off the game rather than risking someone getting injured.
18:11   Rain delays start of KKR vs RR match, inspection at 1830
Umpires have inspected the ground and they have identified few grey areas which will take a bit more time before we can get the play underway.

Next inspection is at 6:30, provided it doesn't rain any further. Meanwhile Rajasthan Royals players are out on the ground assessing the situation.

17:32   Rain delays start of KKR vs Rajasthan game in Kolkata
Meanwhile, we have an update from the Eden Gardens, where the covers are being taken off.

If there is no further rain, the umpires will inspect the field of play at 17:35 hours local time.
17:31
Things haven't changed much..it is still pouring at the Eden Gardens. 5:15 is the cut off time untill we start losing overs.

16:47
Well, it has started to rain heavily again at the Eden Gardens and the chances of match taking place are in serious jeopardy at the moment.

Commentator Aakash Chopra, who is at the venue, says it is raining heavily now.

"Sorry to disappoint but nothing good to share from Kolkata...in fact, it's raining harder now and the ground-staff has disappeared #KKRvRR," he tweets.

16:19   Rain delays start of KKR vs Rajasthan game in Kolkata
Heavy rain in Kolkata has delayed the start of the Kolkata Knight Riders vs Rajasthan Royals match at the Eden Gardens.

It has been pouring non-stop for the last few hours and even though it has stopped raining there is too much of water on the covers.

"Well it has stopped raining, but there is so much standing water that the covers are barely being moved #KKRvRR #IPL," IPL's official Twitter account said.

There will be an official inspection after the rain subsides but that looks too far away at the moment.

The scene was pretty similar on Saturday too as the rain battered the Eden Gardens for more than three hours around the same time denying KKR practice on the eve of the match and they had to content with the indoor facility.

The local Met office has blamed it on a cyclonic circulation over Jharkhand and adjoining South Bengal.

KKR's last outing in Visakhapatnam too was affected by rain as they were done in by Sunrisers Hyderabad by 16 runs via Duckworth-Lewis method.
15:33
Welcome to the update of the first game of the day between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals here at the Eden Gardens.

It's been a steady pour at the stadium and we will not have an on time start for sure.

Rajasthan has lost two games off late and have lost a bit of momentum.

KKR, meanwhile, seems to be bogged down the controversy surrounding Sunil Narine.
