India 26-0 (14 ovs) vs SA | Scorecard

South Africa introduce spin as off-spinner Dane Piedt comes into the attack, to bowl the 11th over.

He makes a tidy start, bowling a maiden over to Vijay, who is happy to just play it out cautiously.

But it is Abbott, who makes the first breakthrough with the wicket of Vijay, who is caught in the slips for for 10. Oh hold on! The umpires want to get it checked..

The catch is referred to the third umpire with the on-field umpire having some doubt about where Abbott's front feet landed.

After a few replays, the benefit of doubt goes in the favour of the batsman as Vijay survives a close call.

Former Karnataka cricketer C K Nandan, who makes his debut as the third umpire, has made a good call with no clear cut evidence of any part of the feet behind the line.

Piedt bowls a low full which Dhawan whips through midwicket for the first boundary of the Indian innings, in the 13th over.

In the next over, Dhawan leans forward and drives a half-volley from Abbott through the covers for a four. He is looking much more assured than Vijay after putting in the hard work in the first hour, he seems to be looking so much more comfortable.
