Chigumbura hits 50 to keep Zimbabwe in the hunt
July 10, 2015  19:27

Zim 173-6 (40 ovs) vs India 255-6 | Scorecard

Bhuvneshwar is back with the run rate crossing above the eight runs per over mark. He bowls a very good over, starting with four dot balls to Cremer, who somehow scampers a single from the fifth ball. Infact, if Rahane had got the direct hit it would have resulted in the run out of Chigumbura.

The last ball stays low and beats both the batsman and keeper to earn Zimbabwe four byes.

Binny continues as Cremer hammers the first ball through the covers for a four but the bowler makes a good comeback with three dot balls.

Cremer picks one from the fifth ball and Chigumbura takes one from the last ball to retain strike.

Zimbabwe are 173 for six in 40 overs with another 83 runs needed from 60 balls for victory.

Chigumbura is waging a lone battle, batting on 51 from 67 balls, and Cremer on seven.
