Patel ends the Zimbabwe innings with the wicket of Madziva who comes down the track but is beaten and is stumped by Uthappa for three.

Zimbabwe are bowled out for a paltry 193 in 42.4 overs to lose 83 runs.

India complete a deserved 3-0 series whitewash and despite their batting not firing on all cylinders they proved to be superior to their opponents.

Binny was India's most successful bowler in the innings with 3-55 after he had scored a quickfire 18 in the final overs.

Manish Pandey shone on his debut with 71, while Jadhav played the innings that mattered as he slammed 105 from 87 balls.

Binny continues his wicket ways as Malcolm Waller gets an outside edge and is caught by Rahane in the slips for five.

The all-rounder finishes with good figures of three for 55 in 10 overs.

In the next over, Mohit comes back and dismisses Utseya who top edges the pull shot but gets a top edge and is caught by Uthappa for a duck.

Tiripano gets off the mark with a four through the leg side as Zimbabwe struggle to 180 for nine in 40 overs.

Harbhajan finally gets his name among the wickets, in his final over. Sikandar Raza makes room but misses the ball completely and is bowled for 13.

He strikes again off the very next delivery as Cremer gets a leading edge and Rahane completes a good catch diving forward at midwicket.

Harbhajan on a hat-trick! Rahane brings five fielders close in to take the catch and give his bowler every chance of getting the landmark.

But Prosper Utseya keeps the last ball out to deny him the hat-trick.

That last over helps Harbhajan finish off his spell with superb figures of two for 35 in 10 overs.

Chibhabha (71) gets a lifeline as Vijay drops a regulation catch at long-off as the right-hander went after pacer Binny, who can't believe his luck. But it doesn't take long for Binny to strike as he gets the wicket of Mutumbami with the ball of the over, leg before wicket for 22.

In his next over, Binny claims the key wicket of Chibhabha, who is caught in the deep on the leg side after a good innings of 82 from 109 balls, having hit seven fours.

A break for the spinners as Binny comes back for a fresh spell, in which he gives four runs, followed by Mohit from the other end.

Mutumbami decides to do something about the passive state of play as he pulls a short ball from Binny through midwicket for a four, in the 33rd over.

Just one over for Mohit in his second spell before he makes way for the experienced Harbhajan, who continues to keep it tight.

Zimbabwe struggle to 145 for three in 34 overs, with the equation getting more and more difficult as 132 more runs are needed from 16 overs for victory.

Chibhabha fighting a lonely battle for the Zimbabweans with not much support from the other end. He plays a lovely drive through the off-side off Patel making most of some width on offer to get nine runs from the 29th over.

Vijay getting a few overs here after the wicket he picked off the first ball. He drops one short as Richmond Mutumbami pulls it through midwicket for his first boundary. He repeats the dose off the last ball of the over, guiding it fine on the off-side for another four as Vijay concedes 12 runs in his third over.

Zimbabwe are 129 for three in 30 overs, with another 148 needed from 20 overs for victory at an asking rate of 7.40.

Part-timer Murali Vijay comes into the attack. He strikes with his very first delivery with the wicket of Chigumbura, who looks to play across the line but misses and is trapped leg before wicket for 10.

In the next over, Chibhabha completes his fifty from 76 balls with a four through the leg side off Patel.

Spin from both ends as left-armer Axar Patel comes into the attack. Chakabva attempts the paddle but fails to make proper connection for two runs but he gets it right off the next ball for a boundary.

But in his next over, Axar strikes with the wicket of Chakabva, who is beaten by the arm ball and is bowled for 27. He went back to hit it through the off-side but missed the ball which crashed into his stumps.

Elton Chigumbura gets off the mark with a four, cutting a short ball from Axar behind point.

The match going to script for the Indians as Zimbabwe's batsmen are content to play it safe and not taking any risks to do something about the asking rate, which is climbing steadily with every over.

The scoreboard is ticking along at a steady pace with only singles and twos coming as Zimbabwe struggle to 66 for one in 18 overs.

Chakabva breaks the shackles as he walks across the stumps and scoops Binny fine over the leg side for a four.

Harbhajan is again proving to be difficult to get away. He is giving it  generous flight and bowling it to his field to keep the batsmen tied down.

Zimbabwe have reached 76 for one after 20 overs, with another 201 needed from the remaining 30 overs for victory.

Bhuvneshwar, who has good figures of 5-1-10-0, will continue. An as usual he comes up with another tight over, giving away just two runs to keep up the pressure on Zimbabwe in the early overs.

Binny is taken off after just one over and he makes way for off-spinner Harbhajan Singh. He makes a tidy start, giving away just two singles.

Change of ends for Binny as he takes over from Bhuvi, who bowled an excellent first spell of six overs for 12 runs. Chakabva attempts a quick single to Jadhav at mid-on, who misses the direct hit with the batsman struggling to make his ground at the non-striker's end.

Binny looks to have made up for a poor first show but the last ball ruins it. a half-volley on the pads is flicked over midwicket by Chibhabha for his fourth boundary to take his score to 31.

Harbhajan bowling with a slip in place and a leg gully and Zimbabwe's batsmen are content to play with caution, picking two singles from his second over.

Binny finally gets it right as he comes up with a maiden over to make up for two below-par overs at the start.

Zimbabwe finding it hard to find some momentum as they reach 54 for one in 15 overs, needing 223 runs from 35 overs for victory at an asking rate of 6.37.

Chibhabha does the same in Mohit's next over as another outside edge flies past the slips for another four. However, he gets the fourth ball off the middle through midwicket for three runs before his partner Chakabva gets one to make it eight runs from the over.

In the next over, Chakabva is beaten by a full delivery from Bhuvi and is struck on the pads but the LBW appeal is turned down. That was mighty close!

Stuart Binny comes into the attack, replacing Mohit, who bowled four overs for 23 while picking up a wicket.

He starts with a loosener, short and wide, which Chibhabha punches through the off-side for a four. The next ball is again an action replay of the first as the Zimbabwe opener himself to another boundary as Zimbabwe recover to 42 for one in 10 overs.

Bhuvneshwar bowls another tight over. Chibhabha manages to get two runs from the last ball for the first runs off the pacer from the 12th ball he has bowled.

In the next over, Mohit has a huge appeal for LBW against Masakadza turned down after the right-hander is beaten by the inswinger.

The Zimbabwe opener is struggling to get going and gets a single from the fifth ball of the over, to get off the mark from the 15th ball he faced.

He gets the first boundary of the innings when he pulls a short ball from Mohit through midwicket in his next over. But two balls later, the pacer has the last laugh as he dismisses Masakadza leg before wicket for seven.

New batsman Regis Chakabva gets off the mark with a streak four, getting an edge which flies the fielder at first slip for a four.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to open the bowling for India, while Hamilton Masakadza and Chamu Chibhabha are the two opening batsmen for the hosts.

Bhuvneshwar makes the perfect start, bowling a maiden to start off with as Masakadza opts to play with caution against the new ball.

Mohit, playing his first match of the series, comes on from the other end. Chibhabha takes a single on the off-side from the first ball to get Zimbabwe off the mark. The second ball is way down the leg side and beats even the keeper to gift Zimbabwe five wides.

Stuart Binny hammers the first ball from Chibhabha through the covers for a four to continue the run-spree with 23 coming from the last eight balls.

But Binny is beaten off the next two balls before he gets another couple from the fourth ball.

A short delivery is lofted over midwicket by Binny for a six and the next one pulled for a four as 16 runs come from the over.

Jadhav, on 91 from 82 balls, on strike for the final over. He gets two runs from the first ball courtesy of misfield by Cremer at long-on. He paddles the next ball over short fine leg for another couple to move to 95.

But Jadhav gets just a single from the third ball and Binny takes one from the next to bring his partner back on strike, who is just one hit away from a four.

Jadhav gets a full toss which he swats behind square on the leg side for to bring up his maiden century in ODIs, from 86 balls, in grand style.

The next ball is stroked through the off-side as the two batsmen scamper through for three runs as India finish on a healthy 276 for five in 50 overs.

India turned around things quite well in the death overs, scoring 66 runs from the last five overs for the loss of one wicket.

Jadhav paced his innings quite well, starting off slowly before going on an all-out attack at the end to finish on a splendid innings of 105 not out from 87 balls, having hit 12 fours and a six, while Binny hit a quickfire 18 from eight balls.

Chibhabha comes into the attack. And he makes the breakthrough as Pandey mishits the pull shot straight into the hands of the fielder at long-on after a good innings of 71 from 86 balls, after he put on 144 runs from 151 balls for the fifth wicket with Jadhav.

Jadhav ends the over with a boundary as he smashes a wide delivery through the point region.

In the next over, he repeats the shot, hitting the slower ball from Tiripano through the off-side again for another four.

He then makes room before taking a couple of steps down to loft the next delivery over the covers for a four. Another slash over point off a short ball make it a hat-trick of fours for Jadhav, who has cut loose and is looking good for a century.

A low full toss is driven through the covers to take Jadhav's score into the 90s.

Cremer is unlucky not to get a wicket in his fourth over. Jadhav (41) looks to play the fine steer through thirdman but is unable to control the extra bounce and holes out a simple catch to point but Chigumbura puts it down.

Jadhav pulls a short ball from Tiripano through midwicket for two runs and two balls later picks another couple through the covers.

A single to thirdman raises the 100 run stand from 123 balls for the fifth wicket with the duo playing a big role in rescuing India from a poor start.

In the next over, Jadhav brings up his fifty, from 63 balls, with a single on the leg side off Cremer. Pandey continues to lift the tempo as he pulls a short ball from Cremer through the midwicket for a four. The leg-spinner has been quite expensive, giving away 42 runs in his five overs.

Madziva comes into the attack. Jadhav comes down the track to the first ball and smashes it through the covers for a four. Three singles before Pandey flicks a full toss on the leg side for another boundary followed by a single to get 12 runs from the over to take India past the 200-run mark, in the 44th over.

Jadhav on the charge now. He again gives Madziva the charge and hits him through the off-side for a four before playing his trademark late cut past short thirdman to make it back to back fours as 12 come from the over.
15:14   Pandey hits 50 on debut to lift India after a poor start

India looking to be positive against Cremer as Pandey looks to heave it on the leg side but fails to make proper connection for two runs on the leg side. Jadhav slaps the fourth ball on the off-side for two runs before he sweeps the next for a four on the leg side as Cremer concedes 10 runs in his second over which helps India get their run rate past the four-run mark as they reach 148 for four in 36 overs.

Utseya gives away four runs in his final over to end his spell with good figures of one for 41 in 10 overs.

Cremer has been taken off after two expensive overs as pacer Tiripano comes back.

Change of ends for Cremer but he continues to leak runs. Two singles from the first two balls before Pandey rocks back and cuts a short ball through the thirdman region for a four and two more singles make it eight from the over.

In the next over, Pandey hits Tiripano for a four off the last delivery to bring up his half-century from 67 balls. What a start to international cricket for the young man!

India have recovered slightly to 170 for four in 40 overs.

Jadhav plays a cheeky steer off Utseya past the wicketkeeper fine on the off-side for his third four of the innings.

Masakadza has bowled a wonderful spell with the ball, taking one for 31 in 10 overs. He played a big role in building the pressure on the Indian batting in the middle overs while taking the wicket of Uthappa.

In tandem with Utseya, he has managed to dry up the runs and at this stage India would do well to get around the 225-run mark.

India desperately missing the in-form Rayudu, who did well to rescue India in the first match when they were in a similar position.

Leg-spinner Graeme Cremer replaces Masakadza and he goes for nine runs in his first over as Jadhav plays his favourite late cut through thirdman. That also brings up the 50-run stand for the fifth wicket from 74 balls as the two young batsmen look to get India's innings back on track.

Five runs from Utseya's ninth over as India reach 138 for four in 35 overs with Pandey on 32 from 53 balls and Jadhav on 26 from 38 balls.

In the next over, Pandey lofts Masakadza back over his head for a straight six for his first boundary in international cricket. Jadhav survives a confident shout for caught behind off the last ball of the over.

Pandey has been quite positive and has kept the scoreboard ticking with clever rotation of the strike.

Jadhav continues the momentum as he flicks the last ball of the next over, bowled by Utseya fine on the leg side for a four.

Just a single from Masakadza's ninth over as India reach 111 for four in 30 overs.

Pandey has looked quite impressive on his debut to score 23 from 38 balls, while Jadhav has made 12 from 23 balls.

Both Utseya and Masakadza bowling well in tandem. In the 10 overs they have bowled together, they have conceded 27 runs while taking 10 wickets.

Utseya has good figures of one for 10 in four overs, while Masakadza has bowled equally well for one for 17 in six overs.

The runs are coming only in singles for India at the moment before Jadhav releases some pressure as he cuts Utseya behind point for a four to take the score to 96 for four in 27 overs.

India continue to slip with the bat as Uthappa fails to carry on after getting off to a good start. He scored a fluent 31 from 44 balls before getting a leading edge off Masakadza and is caught at mid-off.

India in big trouble at 83 for four in 22 overs with two inexperienced batsmen out in the middle -- Pandey and Kedar Jadhav.

Uthappa can't be kept quiet for long as he gives Chibhabha the charge and lofts him down the ground for a four before a single from the next delivery.

At the other end, Tiwary continues to struggle as he plays another four dot balls in a row, to remain on nine from 28 balls.

Another tidy over from Hamilton Masakadza as Tiwary yet again struggles to get going.

Off-spinner Prosper Utseya comes into the attack. And he ends Tiwary's misery as the right-hander gets a leading edge and spoons a simple return catch back to the bowler.

He walks back after a disappointing innings of 10 from 33 balls as India are reduced to 68 for three in the 19th over.

Debutant Manish Pandey gets off the mark with two runs on the leg side.

In the next over, Uthappa gets an edge off Masakadza but is fortunate there are no slips in place as it flies away for a four to take the score to 77 for three in 20 overs.

Both the players failed in their previous two knocks in the series and it is quite understandable that they are taking their time to get going.

Tiwary has made eight from 20 balls, while Uthappa is on 14 from 28 balls as Zimbabwe have managed to pull back the run rate quite well in the last few overs.

India are 57 for two in 15 overs, with a run rate of 3.80 with just 21 runs coming from the last five overs.

But he is dismissed in the very next over, caught behind for 13 to become Madziva's second wicket.

Manoj Tiwary is the new batsman as he walks out to bat at No. 4. He gets off the mark with a single from the fourth ball as India are reduced to 34 for two in eight overs.

Rahane getting a bit frustrated as he is unable to get Madziva away. Two dot balls before the right-hander comes down the track but can only defend. But two balls later, he plays a loose shot away from his body only to offer Utseya in the covers a simple catch.

Rahane walks back for 15 as India are reduced to 25 for one in the sixth over.

Promotion for Robin Uthappa, who had two failures in his last two games, as he walks out to bat at No. 3.

Madziva bowls a big wide down the leg side which the keeper gets a hand to but gives away another extra run followed by a single from the last ball.

The ball coming on to the bat nicely as Rahane punches the second ball of Neville Madziva's first over through the covers for three runs. It is a called a no-ball as the bowler overstepped but Vijay is unable to make most of the free hit and hits it straight to the fielder at mid-off.

Vijay gets a single from the third ball before Rahane sees off the rest of the over as India reach 12 for no loss in two overs.

In the next over, Vijay turns the first ball from Tiripano on the leg side for a single. Rahane drives the third ball straight and looks to have found the gap but Malcolm Waller dives full length to his left to stop what looked like a certain boundary. Just another run in the over courtesy of a wide as Tiripano concedes just two in his second over.

Madziva gives Rahane some width as the right-hander cuts it over point for two runs and the next ball is hit through square leg for two more runs.

The last ball is driven perfectly through the covers as Rahane gets his first boundary of the innings.

Vijay is beaten by Tiripano as he gets one to move away slightly before he comes down the track to the next delivery but is unable to find the gap through the off-side.

Two singles from the last two deliveries as India reach 25 for no loss after five overs.

Donald Tiripano to open the bowling with India captain Ajinkya Rahane on strike, who gets off the mark with three runs to the midwicket region as he plays a nice flick off a full delivery pitched on the pads.

Murali Vijay off the mark in some style as he plays a delightful drive through the covers for a boundary off the last ball of the over.

Both the openers are in good form, having hit a half-century in their previous match and would be keen to continue the momentum.

Hosts Zimbabwe, who are looking to avoid the whitewash, have made three changes.

Prosper Utseya, Malcolm Waller and Regis Chakabva come into the team in place of Vusi Sibanda, Sean Williams and Brian Vitori.
12:08   Zimbabwe elect to bowl, Pandey debuts for India
For the third time in the series, Zimbabwe have won the toss and elected to bowl against India.

Karnataka's right-handede batsman Manish Pandey will make his ODI debut as he replaces the injured Ambati Rayudu.

There is one more change for the visitors with pacer Mohit replacing Dhawal Kulkarni, who also misses out because of injury.

Karnataka batsman Manish Pandey and Punjab fast bowler Sandeep Sharma are most likely to make their international debuts with India set to try out their benched players after having already clinched the series.

Sanju Samson, who was named as the replacement for the injured Ambati Rayudu, is unlikely to make it on time for the ODI series and might miss out.

11:45   India eye series whitewash over Zimbabwe
Welcome to the coverage of the third and final One-Day International between Zimbabwe and India, in Harare, on Tuesday.

The Indian team, led by Ajinkya Rahane, would be eyeing for a clean sweep of the ongoing series when they lock horns with Zimbabwe in the final ODI of the three-match series in Harare on Tuesday.

Having won the first two matches, the side could try some of the bench strength that has still not been put to the test.

Meanwhile, the hosts would be looking to improve their performance and win the last ODI, so as to get momentum for the two T20 internationals series.

India registered a narrow four-run victory over the hosts in the first ODI and won by 62 runs in the second.
