Mortaza replaces Taksin (2-0-12-0) in the sixth over and gives away only three runs.

India have made a steady start here, though not a very aggressive one. Rohit, in particular, has been impressive so far, having hit Mustafizur for a six over square leg followed by a couple of boundaries.

After 40 overs, the home team has reached 245 for five, managing just 32 runs in the batting powerplay. Wait! Virat Kohli has been handed the ball. He gives away five runs as B'desh get to the 250-run mark in the over.

A single off Jadeja helps Shakib complete his 29th ODI fifty, his sixth against India.

Scorecard:

A single by Shakib, off Jadeja, helps raise the 50-run partnership for the fifith wicket, one that has come in just over 10 overs and helped steady the Bangladesh boat.

A couple by Shakib, off Mohit, helps the home team get to the 200-run mark, in the 35th over. The batsman helps himself to successive boundaries in the same over.

After 35 overs, Bangladesh have reached 213 for four. Time for the batting powerplay.

17:14
Scorecard:

Bangladesh: 151-4 (26 overs)

Mushfiqur (14) tries to accelerate the run rate, and in the process becomes Ashwin's third victim, caught by Rohit Sharma.

Sad to see that despite having played cricket for four decades, Bangladesh is not a team that learns. This kinda collapse has become so predictable.

It has started pouring now and the umpires have decided to get the covers on.

So we have our first interruption, with B'desh on 119 for one (after 15.4 overs).

Stay tuned.

Scorecard:

Bangladesh: 105-1 (14 overs)

A boundary off Mohit helps Sarkar to his second ODI fifty. The shot also helps the home team get past the 100-run mark, in the 14th over.

This is now the best opening stand for Bangladesh against India, besting the 80-run stand by Tamim and Imrul Kayes in 2010.

However, the stand is limited to 102 when Raina runs out Sarkar (54), giving the visitors the breakthrough they so desperately needed.

Sarkar's 40-ball blitz was inclusive of eight boundaries and a six.
15:21
Scorecard:

Bangladesh: 93-0 (12 overs)

R Ashwin replaces Yadav (3-0-28-0) in the attack in the eight over. Soumya Sarkar hits a couple of boundaries as 11 runs come off the off-spinner's first over.

After 10 overs, Bangladesh is comfortably placed at 70 without loss. A flustered Dhoni hands the ball to Suresh Raina. He bowls a good first over.
15:03
Scorecard:

Bangladesh: 55-0 (7 overs)

The Indian bowlers have failed to make any sort of impact so far, in the first five overs.

Umesh Yadav to continue in the sixth, and Tamim Iqbal starts off with successive boundaries. Tamim gets his third boundary of the over in the fifth ball, and the last ball he smacks for a six.

And we have some bad news as well. It's drizzing in Mirpur. Nothing serious so far though.

Soumya Sarakar gets a couple of boundaries in the seventh over by Kumar, the first helping the home side get past the 50-run mark.

The third ball is short and wide and Tamim gets it to thirdman for a single.

Sarkar drives the fifth ball through the covers along the ground and gets two runs as Yadav concedes three in his first over.

Bhuvneshwar starts his second with a no-ball as he oversteps the bowling crease to give away a free hit. But Tamim is unable to get the free hit and he plays and misses. He comes down the track to the next ball but is forced to defend before he gets a single.

Sarkar plays a delightful straight drive, beating the fielder at mid-off for the first four of the match as Bangladesh reach 14 for no loss in three overs.
