LIVE Cricket! Shakib, Mustafizur seal series win for Bangladesh

A six wicket haul from Mustafizur and a brilliant unbeaten half-century from Shakib al Hasan has helped Bangladesh stun India by six wickets. 

Chasing a modest 200 for victory, Bangladesh were off a decent start. Litton Das and Soumya Sarkar put on a half-century stand to give hosts ideal start. 

Shakib and Mushfiqur added another 54 to cement Bangladesh's grip on the game . 

Bangladesh wrapped up the game in 38th over to give them an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three match series.

Shakib al Hasan is leading the chase for Bangladesh as the host close-in on a series win over India. 

Indians haven't been able to pick up wickets and hosts require less than 20 runs to wrap up the game. 

After 36 overs, Bangladesh were 182-4.

MS Dhoni brilliance in the field had Mushfiqur  Rahim walking back for 31. Rahim cut Axar Patel and wanted to go for the second. 

Rohit was quick but the throw wasn't an accurate one. Dhoni moved ahead and deflected it back to the stumps to provide the breakthrough. 

Bangladesh were 163-4 after 31 overs.

After Ashwin it was Axar Patel who removed the other set batsman Litton Das. 

Das who was looking to be aggressive against Patel was stumped by MS Doni for 36.

Bangladesh were 106-3 after 21 overs.

R Ashwin finally provides the breakthrough for India as he removed Soumya Sarkar for 34.

Sarkar was undone by a flatter delivery from Ashwin and adjudged LBW. 

After 17 overs, Bangladesh were 86-2.

Axar Patel now comes into the attack and Soumya Sarkar welcomes him with a six. 

A slog sweep from the southpaw and hits it deep into the stands. Litton Das too joins the party and he helps himself with a boundary. 

Another boundary to end the over to make it a big one for Bangladesh. The hosts were 86-1 after 16 overs. Das is on 33, while Sarkar is on 34.

R Ashwin returns after a break. Litton Das chips down the track but plays it to the fielder -- no run. 

Das get a single courtesy of a leg-bye. Ashwin keeps it quite in the over as Bangladesh were 50-1 after 11 overs. Sarkar is on 22, while Das is on 9.

Dhawal Kulkarni strikes for India as he had Tamim Iqbal walking back to the pavillion for 13. 

Tamim, looking to hit Kulkarni out of the park was deceived by a slower one and edged it to Shikhar Dhawan at first slips. 

Bangladesh were 35-1 after 7 overs.

R Ashwin to continue as Bangladesh openers look to attack the spinner. Ashwin is on the money so far and hasn't given anything away. 

It's been four dot balls so far from the off-spinner. 

A single to end the over as Bangladesh were 34-0. Iqbal is on 13, while Sarkar is on 17.

Dhawal Kulkarni runs in for his first over and almost strikes off the first ball. 

Tamim Iqbal chips down the track and but hits it straight to Virat Kohli who is stationed at mid-on.

But replays are inconclusive and third umpire prefers to go with on-field umpire and decides the give batsman the benefit of the doubt. 

Iqbal then creams one through the offside for a boundary. 

Soumya Sarkar gets a outside edge and the ball runs down to the boundary. 

Bangladesh were 16-0 after 2 overs.

For the record Brian Vitori's figures came against Bangladesh. 

After a rain delay, Mustafizur takes his sixth, when he has Jadeja (19) cleaned up. Mustafizur ends another impressive spell (10-0-43-6).

Rubel then has Bhuvneshwar (3) caught behind as India are dismissed for a paltry 200 in 45 overs.

In his ninth over, Mustafizur has Ashwin (4) caught behind. 

And there's another five-wicket haul for Mustafizur. 

He is only the second bowler to take two five-wicket hauls in his first two ODIs after Zimbabwe's Brian Vittori.

Ravindra Jadeja has joined his captain at the crease, with India in all sorts of trouble. 

Mortaza to bowl the second powerplay over. He gives away just three runs. 

Mustafizur strikes twice in his eight over, first having Dhoni (47) caught by Soumya Sarkar at short cover, and then having Axar Patel out leg before for a first ball duck. R Ashwin survives the hat-trick ball.

Bangladesh have condced only 17 runs in the batting powerplay and taken three wickets. Incredible.

Immediately afer drinks, Shakib is handed the ball. He replaces Taskin (4-0-24-0) in the 33rd over. A single by Dhoni in the second ball helps India reach the 150-run mark. 

For the first time ever in his career, in 49 matches that is, Nasir Hossain (10-0-33-2) has completed his full quota of overs. Needless to say he has been impressive today. 

The batting powerplay has been taken in the 36th over with India on 162 for four. Mustafizur to bowl. He strikes with his third ball, having Raina (34) caught behind. 

Raina's 55-ball knock was inclusive of three hits to the fence and he helped his captain add 53 runs for the fifth wicket.

Dhoni and Raina are putting together a good little partnership here, getting India back on track. 

The scoring rate albeit has come dome drastically. The Bnagladesh bowlers have bowled well but the Indians have made them seem even better.

A single by Shikhar, off Hossain, helps India get to the 100-run mark, in the 19th over. 

Against the run of play India lose two wickets. Dhawan (53) is stumped off Hossain and Ambati Rayudu is caught at point by Nasir off Rubel.

Captain MS Dhoni has promoted himself up the order, in at No.4. He begins with a boundary apiece off Rubel and Hossain. 

Shakib Al Hasan is handed the ball in the 16th over, replacing Rubel (2-0-12-0). He gives away four runs first up. 

A single off Shakib helps Shkihar complete his 13th ODI fifty, his first against Bangladesh.

After a tentaive start, India managed 65 in the opening 10 overs. Good comeback. 

And we have the second bowling change for Bangladesh, Nasir Hossain replacing Mustafizur (5-0-32-1) in the attack in the 11th over. He gives away three runs first up. 

It's a twin bowling change with Rubel Hossain replacing Mortaza (3-0-20-0) in the 12th over. He gives away five runs. 

Nasir provides Bangladesh the breakthrough they so desperately needed, having Kohli (23) out leg before in his second over. 

Kohli's 27-ball innings was inclusive of three boundaries and a six and he helped Shikhar add 74 runs for the second wicket. It's drinks as well.

Mustafizur is given a fifth over on the trot, the ninth of the innings. It turns out to be a costly decision.

Kohli smashes the third ball for a huge six over mid-on, the shot helping India reach the 50-run mark, and raise the 50-run stand for the second wicket. He follows it up with a boundary between mid-on and midwicket. 

And we welcome the rains. India has reached 54 for one after nine overs, and we have the first rain-break. However, the drizzle stop and the players are back on the field. 

Dhawan helps himself to successive boundaries off Mortaza.

Taskin Ahmed to bowl the second over. Eight runs come off it with Shikhar finding the fence. The batsman helps himself to another boundary in Mustafizur's second over. 

Kohli gets his first boundary in Taskin's second over, a cracking shot over point. 

Bangladesh make their first bowling change in the sixth over, captain Masrafe Mortaza replacing Taskin (2-0-13-0) in the attack. The only scoring in the over happens to be a boundary through midwicket by Dhawan.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan walk out to open the batting for India and it will be Mustafizur Rahman to start the proceedings for the home side. 

And Mustafizur strikes second ball, having Rohit caught by Nasir Hossain. A very loose shot by Rohit there. 

Virat Kohli is the new man in.

Good afternoon and welcome to the live coverage of the second ODI between Bangladesh and India in Dhaka. 

MS Dhoni wants to put the runs on the board, and is ready with big changes. So out go Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma, and in come Ambati Rayudu, Axar Patel and Dhawal Kulkarni.

The home team lead the three-match series 1-0. Their skipper Mashrafe Mortaza concurs with his Indian counterpart's decision.

"We would liked to bat as well," he admitted. 

Bangladesh are going for a 10th consecutive ODI win at home, and a possibly a series win against India.
