Ambati Rayudu finishes off the proceedings for India as he dismissed Mustafiur Rahman for 9, thereby beating Bangladesh by 77 runs. 

Rahman was guilty of playing on the wrong line and was adjudged LBW.

Patel is bowling quick as Sunny plays with a dead bat.

Nasir Hossain slaps one through the off-side for three runs. Mashrafe Mortaza chips down the track, only to have his stumps rattled. 

Bangladesh were 207-7 after 36 overs. Hossain is on 27 and he is joined in the middle by Arafat Sunny, who is yet to open his account.

Stuart Binny strikes a deadly blow for India as he castles Sabbir Rahman for 43. 

Rahman was deceived by a slower one from Binny as he played one back onto the stumps.

Rahman and Nasir Hossain had put on 49 runs stand and it looked like they were pulling things back for the hosts. 

Bangladesh were 197-6 after 32.5 overs.

Suresh Raina strikes once again to cripple Bangladesh. This time it's Shakib al Hasan's turn to make the long walk back to the pavillion.

Shakib looking to clear long-on was caught by Dhawal Kulkarni to reduce Bangladesh to 154-5 after 27 overs. 

The hosts require 164 runs from 23 overs.

Suresh Raina strikes a crucial blow for India as he removes Mushfiqur Rahim for 24. 

A quicker delivery from Raina caught the edge of Rahim's bat and was safely pouched by MS Dhoni behind the stumps. 

After 20 overs, Bangladesh were 113-3. Litton Das is on 33 and he is joined in the middle by Shakib al Hasan, who is yet to open his account.

Dhawal Kulkarni strikes important blow as he removes well-set Soumya Sarkar for 40. 

Sarkar looking to be aggressive against the medium pacer was holed out to R Ashwin.

Soumya Sarkar is attacking Indian bowlers despite early wicket of  Tamim Iqbal. Sarkar took a liking to Stuart Binny hitting him for back-to-back boundaries. 

Earlier he hit Binny for a six and a boundary to ensure that Bangladesh are off to a great start in the chase. 

Bangladesh were 34-1 after 5 overs. Sarkar is on 22, while Litton Das is on 2.

Tamim was caught deep in his crease and was adjudged LBW.

Timely cameos from skipper MS Dhoni and Shikhar Dhawan has helped India post a competitive 317-6, after they were asked to bat first.

Shikhar Dhawan smashed a 73-ball 75, while Dhoni stroked 69 off just 77 balls.

India seemed to struggle for momentum throughout the innings before Suresh Raina's 21 ball 38 revived Indian innings. 

Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza was the pick of the bowlers with 3-76. Mustafizur Rahman's impressive run continued as he picked up 2-57.

With seven overs to go, MS Dhoni swats Mashrafe Mortaza for a boundary.  Dhoni pushes one through the covers for a single. 

Ambati Rayudu goes down on one knee and tries to sweep Mortaza -- misses -- loud appeal from the bowler and wicketkeeper and umpire raises the finger in affirmation. 

Replays show that the ball may have come off the thigh pad. 

Mortaza then had MS Dhoni walking back after he was caught by Mustafizur Rahman at deep midwicket.

After 46 overs, India were 272-5. Stuart Binny is on 2, while Suresh Raina is on 18.

Rubel Hossain runs in as MS Dhoni welcomes him with a boundary through the off side. Bangladesh bowlers have managed to keep the run scoring in check and haven't allowed Indian batsmen to hit them hard. 

The batting Power Play yielded only 28 runs.

Dhoni follows it with a brace as India look to move on. Ambati Rayudu is playing his part to perfection by keeping the strike rotating. 

Dhoni soon reached his half-century with a single off Afrafat Sunny in just 58 balls.

The duo have added 62 so far as India were 220-3. Dhoni is on 50, while Rayudu is on 32.

India have taken the batting Power Play as Sunny Arafat continues. Ambati Rayudu takes a single to give strike to MS Dhoni. 

Dhoni paddles it for a single. Rayudu slog sweeps it for a much-needed boundary. He follows it with a single. 

After 32 overs, India were 184-3. Dhoni is on 34, while Rayudu is on 10.

Mashrafe Mortaza strikes in his comeback spell as he removes well-set Shikhar Dhawan for 75. 

Dhawan who was looking good for a big one, was caught brilliantly by Nasir Hossain, who was stationed at short mid-wicket.

MS Dhoni has come out with an aggressive mindset in the middle and is going after the bowlers. 

Nasir Hossain had to face the brunt of Dhoni's onslaught as he was hit for a six and a boundary. 

He then latched on to a short delivery from Shakib al Hasan and dispatched it to midwicket boundary. 

Shikhar Dhawan's silky touch continued as he creamed one through the offside for a boundary. 

After 25 overs, India were 145-2. Dhoni is on 22, while Dhawan is on 64.

Kohli who seemed to be working his way into form, played an extravagant sweep shot, only to hit it back onto his stumps.

Shikhar Dhawan stroked his way to a 50-ball half-century to ensure that India are off to a great start. 

After being put into bat first, Dhawan played the second fiddle to Rohit Sharma, before opening up. 

The left-hander reached the landmark with back to back boundaries off Arafat Sunny. 

He is getting good support from Virat Kohli, who is fighting his way back into some form. 

After 19 overs, India were 113-1. Dhawan is on 54, while Kohli is on 25.

India were 21-0 after 4 overs. Rohit is on 14, while Dhawan is on 5.

He is on the money from the word go and defended by Rohit. Mustafiur has been on the money so far. 

Rohit finally manages to get off the mark with a push towards leg side -- gets three.

The news from the middle is Bangladesh have won the toss and have elected field first. A forced change for the hosts as Taskin Ahmed misses out due to side strain.

India make two changes, bringing in Stuart Binny and Umes Yadav in place of Jadeja and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
