Bangalore: 179-1 (16 overs)

Sandeep Sharma returns to clean up Kohli (32). AB de Villiers replaces his captain and begins with three successive sixes off Karanveer Sharma.

A boundary by Gayle, off Karanveer helps raise the 50-run partnership for the second wicket, off just 20 balls.

Spin is introduced in the eighth over, with Glenn Maxwell. He gives away eight runs first up.

00:29   Rayudu, Pollard steer Mumbai to victory against Delhi

MUMBAI WIN BY 5 WICKETS!!!
Mumbai 153-5 (19.3 ovs) vs Delhi 152-5 | Scorecard

Tahir to bowl the final over of the innings. Can he weave his magic and lead Delhi to an unlikely victory with Mumbai needing just eight for victory?

Rayudu comes down the track to the first ball but doesn't middle it as he gets one to deep midwicket.

Pollard casually flicks the next ball over midwicket and it carries all the way for a six. A single on the off-side from the next delivery lifts Mumbai to a thrilling victory by five wickets with three deliveries to spare.

A superb innings from Rayudu, who finished unbeaten on 49 from 40 balls, while Pollard provided the finishing touches with a quickfire 26 not out from 14 balls as the duo were involved in an unbroken stand of 53 runs from 25 balls for the sixth wicket to take their team to an unlikely victory.

With this victory, Mumbai jump to fourth in the IPL table with 10 points from 10 matches, while Delhi slump to sixth with eight points from the same number of games.
00:22   Mumbai Indians need 8 from the last over for victory

Mumbai 145-5 (19 ovs) vs Delhi 152-5 | Scorecard

Coulter-Nile to bowl the 19th over which means Tahir will bowl the final over.

He makes a big mistake by bowling a length ball first up and Pollard heaves it over midwicket for a huge six. The Australian pacer learns from his mistake and sends down a yorker outside the off-stump which beats Pollard.

The third ball is full as Pollard drills it straight back but it hits the stumps at the non-strikers end and Delhi are lucky that some runs are saved courtesy of the stumps.

Interestingly, Zaheer looks in charge of things and is actively involved with setting of fields after every delivery.

Coulter-Nile errs with his line as he bowls a wide half-volley which Rayudu steers past point for a four. He slices the next one over the off-side but gets a single to sweeper cover.

Pollard clips the last ball to deep square leg for two runs as Coulter-Nile goes for 14 runs in the over.

Mumbai well in control with eight runs needed from the last over for victory.
00:16   Rayudu's attack keeps Mumbai in the hunt

Mumbai 131-5 (18 ovs) vs Delhi 152-5 | Scorecard

Zaheer comes back, to bowl his fourth and final over. He starts from round the wicket and starts with a length ball to Rayudu, who lofts it over long-on for a six.

But the veteran manages to get it right from the rest of the over as Mumbai pick five singles from the rest of the over to make it 11 runs from Zaheer's fourth and final over, who finishes with one for 32.

Mathews to bowl the 18th over. Rayudu comes down the track and hammers it over the covers for a four to once again get a boundary from the first ball of the over. The next ball is smashed straight and strikes Mathews on his ankles on the follow through for a single to long-off.

Mathews bowls a sharp bouncer to Pollard, who has a swing but is beaten as the appeal for caught behind is turned down. The next ball is short of good length and on the stumps as the tall West Indian can only defend it back to the bowler.

He gets a single from the fifth ball before Rayudu gets an edge from the last ball which goes low to the right of the wicketkeeper for a four.

Mathews has gone for 10 in his final over as Mumbai reach 131 for five in 18 overs, with 22 needed from the last two overs for victory.

00:03   LIVE IPL: Rohit out for 46, Delhi Daredevils on top

Mumbai 110-5 (16 ovs) vs Delhi 152-5 | Scorecard

Mishra cripples Mumbai with the wicket of Rohit, who inside edges the googly back on to his stumps to be bowled for 46 from 37 balls.

That is a big wicket for Delhi under the circumstances as Mumbai are reduced to 100 for five in the 16th over.

Kieron Pollard is the new batsman and Delhi on the attack as they station a fielder at short leg for the new batsman.

He comes down the track and defends the first ball as it goes off the pad to the fielder at short leg. But he crashes the last ball straight back over the bowler's head for a six which has shaken the leggie, who bowls two wides in a row.

11 runs from the over as Mishra finishes with one for 25 in four overs.

Mumbai are 110 for five in 16 overs, with 43 needed from four overs for victory.
