Brad Hogg replaces Narine (2-0-12-0) in the attack in the ninth over. He is unlucky as Gambhir puts down Shreyas (on 32) off the fourth ball.

Delhi go into the first strategic timeout, taken after the ninth over, at 54 without loss.

Manoj (25) smashes Piyush for a huge six before perishing in an attempt to repeat the feat.

Delhi: 51-0 (8 overs)
Kolkata: 171-7 (20 overs)

First bowling change for Kolkata, and predictably it is spin, Sunil Narine replacing Yadav (2-0-7-0). Tiwary hits successive boundaries as 10 runs come off the over.

Delhi have managed only 36 after the first six overs. More importantly though, they are yet to lose a wicket.

Rajasthan are 145 for five in 17 overs, with 57 needed from three overs for victory.

Smith gets an edge but it goes through the vacant slip region for a four. He comes down the track and flicks it on the leg side but Henriques at deep square leg drops an easy catch. Smith has already enjoyed two reprieves and Hyderabad could pay dearly for their fielding lapses.

Rajasthan feeling the pressure of the huge target as Steve Smith has a wild swing but skies one straight which goes over the bowler's head but falls in between both mid-on and mid-off. Infact, Warner went went tentatively towards the ball and made no extra effort to catch it, maybe his back injury hampered him.

Meanwhile, champions Kolkata Knight Riders have received a timely boost ahead of the final round of matches in IPL 8 as mystery spinner Sunil Narine's action was cleared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

Coming clean after a rehabilitation program post being called for chucking in last year's Champions League T20, Narine was once again called for a suspect action in this IPL edition and subsequently barred from bowling the off-spinners on April 28.

The West Indian though requested for a further Official Assessment by the BCCI Suspect Bowling Action Committee and he got the much-needed reprieve.

"This request was received and accordingly the player underwent a third biomechanical analysis of his action at the ICC and BCCI accredited Sri Ramachandra Arthroscopy and Sports Sciences Centre (SRASSC) in Chennai this time for his remodelled action (i.e. the one that had been cleared by the Committee immediately before the IPL season)," said a BCCI media release.

"This analysis has re-confirmed the conclusion of the first Official Assessment by the Committee namely that the remodelled action for the off-spinner does not contravene Law 24.2 (as read with Law 24.3)."

15:26   Rajasthan Royals hold edge against inconsistent Sunrisers
Welcome to the coverage of the 41st match of the Indian Premier League between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai, on Thursday.

After snapping their losing streak with a win over Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals will now look to keep themselves on course for a play-off berth with another dominating show against an inconsistent Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The Royals had blasted off to a great start by winning first five matches, before losing their way a bit with three losses and two no results but the 14-run win over Delhi on Sunday arrested the slide.

The Shane Watson-led squad would be keen to regain their focus after a short break and apply the knock-out punch on Sunrisers as another win could virtually ensure their berth in the play-offs with two games left in hand.

Sunrisers, on the other hand, have blown hot and cold right through the tournament and are currently placed at the second-last rung of the points table but the David Warner-led side will have a chance to avenge their humiliating six-wicket defeat to the Royals at Vishakapatnam on April 16.
