Mumbai Indians take a gamble as part-time medium pacer Hardik Pandya is brought into the attack.

De Villiers smashes the second ball through the off-side for a four and lofts the next one over the ring for another boundary.

Pandya under pressure as he bowls a full toss which AB hammers down the ground to make it a hat-trick of fours as Pandya goes for 15 runs in his first over.

RCB are closing down on the 10-run per over mark as they race to 147 for one in 15 overs. At this rate they are looking good for a total well in excess of the 200-run mark.

McClenaghan comes into the attack, to bowl his fourth and final over. Mumbai have been forced to use up his quota well before the end to pull back things and force a breakthrough somehow.

De Villiers hits the second ball through midwicket for two runs to bring up RCB's 150. The next ball is short as the South African pulls it powerfully and gets a boundary to deep square leg with the ball bouncing just short of the ropes.

Kohli completes his fifty from 39 balls with a single on the leg side from the fifth ball of the over.

De Villiers ends the over with a boundary, lofting the last ball over the covers to move into the 90s, he is on 92 from 45 balls.

RCB's run rate has now touched the 10 mark, with the score an imposing 160 for one in 16 overs.
