Good evening and welcome to the live coverage of the Indian Premier League match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab in Hyderabad.

The home team has won the toss and opted to bat first.

"We are pretty confident about our bowling but we want to put up the runs on the board," reasons Hyderabad captain David Warner. George Bailey, his opposite number, is not too perturbed.

"It looks a beautiful wicket. A good night for batting, I reckon," he says.

Punjab is already out of contention whereas Hyderabad is very much in the scheme of things.
