Ashwin to bowl the second over. Facing him is left-hander Stiaan van Zyl, who defends watchfully against the off-spinner. Infact, he offered no stroke to one which went straight and passed very close to the stumps. He picks a leg bye from the fifth ball to get South Africa off the mark.

Van Zyl gets the first runs off the bat for the visitors as he steers a full wide delivery past point for two runs before Ishant gets one to go past the edge of the bat. Ishant bowls it short and wide as van Zyl opens the face of the bat and steers it past point for a couple.

Elgar gets off the mark in the next over with a single on the leg side off Ashwin before van Zyl manages to see off the rest of the over.
