SA 11-2 (9 ovs) vs India 215 | Scorecard

Welcome to the coverage of Day 2 of the third Test between India and South Africa in Nagpur, on Thursday.

India would be looking to cripple South Africa further with a few early wickets on Day 2 with the pitch expected to get worse for batting.

India failed to make the best of first use of the wicket, their batsmen capitulating against both pace and spin as they were dismissed for 215 in the first innings in the third Test against South Africa at the Vidarbha Cricket Association stadium, in Nagpur, on Wednesday.

However, the hosts hit back immediately, claiming two early scalps which left the Proteas reeling on 11 for 2 after nine overs at the end of Day 1.

India's spin attack again responded well, dismissing opener Stiaan van Zyl for a duck and Imran Tahir (4), who came in as a night-watchman.

Openers Dean Elgar (7) and captain Hashim Amla (0) were at the crease when stumps were drawn for the day.
