India lose the early wicket in the first over after the lunch break as Vijay is dismissed by Morkel, caught in the slips for three.

With the wicket offering spin, Morkel decides to bowl the slow off-cutter. The ball is full and Vijay looks to steer it to thirdman but ends up guiding it straight to Amla at first slip as India lose a wicket in the first over of the post-lunch session.

New batsman Cheteshwar Pujara gets off the mark with a four as he hits a wide half-volley through the covers as Morkel again tries the slower ball but errs with his length.

Morkel bowled his heart out in the first innings on a wicket aiding the spinners, and here again he is making an impact with his clever change of pace.
