A huge moral-booster for Delhi as they register their second victory in three games to make a good start to their campaign.

The next ball is short and the left-hander pulls it through the same region for a four to race to 81 from 39 balls, having hit 10 fours and three sixes. Wiese has gone for 20 runs in the over as RCB start to wilt under the pressure.

Senior pro Watson comes back but no stopping de Kock who smashes the third ball of the over, straight back past the bowler for a four.

Delhi are the favourites at this stage and de Kock has single-handedly brought them to this stage. He has smashed his way to 88 from 42 balls, for a strike rate of well over 200.

Nair gets two leg byes from the last ball as Watson goes for 10 runs in his third over.

Delhi are 146 for two in 15 overs, with another 46 needed from five overs for victory. They are slowly running away with the game, having scored 30 runs from the last two overs.

Rasool comes back as de Kock again looks to cut but gets an inside edge before he brings out the sweep for two runs.

The left-hander turns the fifth ball on the leg side and calls for a risky double as his partner Nair does well to dive which sees him escape the run out chance.

Harshal bowls a good second over after going for runs in his first, giving away just five runs.

De Kock decides to do something about the asking rate which is over 10 now. He comes down the track and lofts leg-spinner Chahal down the ground for a six as they get 11 runs from the over.

David Wiese comes into the attack. He starts with a wide to Nair before bowling five dot balls in a row before the right-hander dances down the track and drives the last ball through the covers for a four.

Medium pacer Harshal Patel comes into the attack. The first ball is full as de Kock picks it off his pads and deposits over square leg for a six. Nair flicks the third ball square on the leg side where Watson makes a good diving stop to keep it down to two.

Patel bowls a short ball which Nair does well to ramp it over the wicketkeeper for a four as the runs continue to come at a good rate.

Nair has gotten into his groove quite well as he pulls a short ball from Wiese on the leg side for a four.

De Kock gets a boundary off the fifth ball through the leg side to race to his fifty from just 22 balls.

Delhi 51-2 (6 ovs) vs RCB 191-5 | SCORECARD

And no stopping de Kock from getting another four through the off-side as Rasool looks a bit clueless on how got it through.

Samson drives the third ball through the covers for two runs as Rasool goes for eight runs in his second with Delhi reaching 50 for one in five overs.

Samson's painful innings comes to an end as he pulls a short ball straight into the hands of the fielder at midwicket. After a poor domestic season, Samson has struggled to get going in the IPL this year and in this innings too, he has managed just nine from 14 balls.

Karun Nair gets off the mark with a single from the last ball of the over, which is the only run of the over in which Watson also bagged a wicket.

That over pegged back Delhi as they reach 51 for two in six overs, with another 141 runs needed from 14 overs for victory at 10 runs per over.

A surprise move from RCB as off-spinner Parveez Rasool is called in to bowl the second over.

deSanju Samson takes a single from the second ball before de Kock slaps a short ball through the off-side for a four.

He repeats the shot off the last two balls of the over to make it three fours from the second over as Delhi look to bounce back after that early wicket.

De Kock once again breaches the off-side as he makes most of some width from pacer Aravind. But he misses a full toss as he fails to find the gap on the leg side before taking two runs from the last ball.

Shane Watson comes into the attack. And he is killing anything slightly wide as he crashes another one through point for a four, his sixth of the innings, to race to 28 from 12 balls.

Despite the early wicket, Delhi have gone along well to race to 42 for one in four overs with de Kock smashing 29 from 13 balls and Samson on six.

Left-arm pacer Sreenath Aravind to open the bowling for RCB.

Quinton de Kock smashes the first ball through the off-side to get the innings off with a boundary. The next ball is a big wide down the leg side to give away five wides followed by a single.

Aravind gets the wicket of Shreyas Iyer with the last ball of the over for a duck. The youngster chipped down the track and looked for a big shot down the ground but failed to make proper connection. Watson did well to run back from mid-on and take the catch just inside the ropes but the momentum carries him over the ropes as he does well to flick the ball back in and David Wiese arrives just in time to take the catch, diving full length and ending inches inside the ropes.

That was another stunning relay catch, we have seen quite a few in T20 cricket recently, as Iyer's poor run with the bat in IPL 9 continues.

Kohli turns the fifth ball on the leg side for two runs before he digs out another yorker for one.

Shami ends Kohli's brilliant innings as he hits it straight into the hands of the fieler at long-on to walk back after a superb knock of 79 from 48 balls.

Jadhav pulls a short ball from Shami over midwicket but picks only a single after initially thinking the ball would go into the ropes for a four but it stops after dropping in the vacant area.

David Wiese also takes a single from the fourth ball before Jadhav misses another quick short ball and he takes a quick leg bye.

The last ball is a full toss driven straight to Amit Mishra in the covers who has a shy at the stumps but misses and ends up giving another extra run.

Wonderful stuff from Shami, who after being hit for 15 runs in his first over, has made a good comeback to take two for 34 in his four overs.

RCB are in danger of ending well short of the 200-run mark as they reach 183 for five in 19 overs.

Morris bowls a quick bouncer as Jadhav again struggles with the pull shot and gets just one and Wiese also takes one as he digs out a fast yorker.

Another two singles from the next ball before Jadhav again fails to connect with the pull shot.

But Shami gets revenge immediately as he looks to pull a short ball but gets hit on the gloves and is caught at short fine leg after a quickfire 33 from 19 balls.

The young Sarfaraz Khan doesn't last long and it is a brilliant piece from fielding on his follow through from Shami which gets Delhi another wicket.

Shami does well to lunge full length to his left and in one action also manages to hit the stumps at the batsman's end, leaving Sarfaraz with no time to make his crease after he had taken a few steps down after playing the shot.

RCB 164-2 (16 ovs) vs Delhi | SCORECARD

Captain Zaheer, who has one over in hand, comes back as Delhi look for a wicket or two to halt RCB's domination.

But Kohli shows his former team mate scant respect as he takes him to the cleaners.

First Watson plays the lap sweep to perfection, sweeping the pacer fine for a six.

Two balls later Kohli hits a very wide delivery through the off-side for a four and then flicks the fifth ball over midwicket for a six.

The last ball is a full toss as Kohli despatches it through midwicket for a four.

Zaheer is hit for 21 runs in his final over as he finishes with horror figures of one for 51 in four overs.

RCB 114-2 (13 ovs) vs Delhi | SCORECARD

Delhi's bowlers are guilty of giving away a lot of loose deliveries time and again. This time Mishra bowls the quicker one down the leg side as AB gets it off the pads for four leg byes.

10 runs from the 10th over takes RCB to 97 for one with AB on 54 from 29 balls and Kohli on 37 from 28 balls.

They are on course for a total around the 200-run mark.

Negi looking to bowl it slower as he gives it a bit of air. Kohli chips down the track but is too early into the shot as he gets an inside edge for a single on the leg side.

But he smashes the fifth ball handsomely over long-on for a six as RCB go past the 100-run mark, in the 11th over.

It is West Indian Carlos Brathwaite, who breaks the stand with the key wicket of AB.

The South Africa goes for a big hit down the ground but holes out to Shami at long-on to walk back after a superb innings of 55 from 33 balls, having hit nine fours and a six.

He rallied RCB after the early wicket of Gayle, putting on 107 runs from 65 balls for the second wicket with Kohli.

That is the first wicket for Brathwaite in the IPL and it couldn't get any bigger!

But Delhi can't relax yet as another dangerous RCB batsman walks out to the middle in the form of Shane Watson.

Excellent start with the ball from Brathwaite, conceding just three runs, while taking the wicket of AB to check RCB's charge.

Shami comes back into the attack as Delhi look to bowl a few tight overs and create some pressure.

Shami does well to concede just five but Kohli races to his fifty from just 36 balls with a single from the last ball.

RCB 87-1 (9 ovs) vs Delhi | SCORECARD

Spin from both ends as the experienced Amit Mishra comes into the attack.

Kohli chips down the track to the second ball and lofts it over long-on for a four and they pick another three singles to make seven runs from the over.

Delhi will be eager to stop the flow of boundaries and pull back things in the middle overs using their spinners.

De Villiers hits another cracking shot through the off-side against Negi for a four before a single from the last ball helps him bring up his fifty, from just 25 balls.

RCB are dominating out in the middle, having reached 87 for one in nine overs.

The first ball is good, hitting AB on the pads, who sneaks a leg bye. But the next is poor, on the pads and slipping down as Kohli nudges it fine for a four. Kohli then plays a majestic cover drive, making most of a wide half volley for another boundary.

The last ball is short and this time AB makes most of it, pulling it high over midwicket for a six as Shami goes for 15 runs in his first over.

Zaheer continues and is taken for runs by de Villiers, in the fifth over. Three singles from the first three balls before AB pulls a short ball through midwicket and then drills a full toss through the covers for back to back fours.
