23:56   Watson run out for 2, RCB in a spot of bother

RCB 92-3 (12 ovs) vs Hyderabad 194-5 | SCORECARD

De Villiers gets another lifeline as Hooda puts down a tough chance on the off-side and once again Sran is the unlucky bowler.

And to rub more salts on his wounds, AB steers the next ball past point for a four.

Shane Watson gets off the mark with a single to fine leg as Sran goes for six runs in that over.

Watson is dismissed in the next over as Sran scores a direct hit from deep square leg to get the Australian run out for two. That is a big blow to RCB's chances of chasing down this huge total, as they are reduced to 89 for three in the 12th over.

Watson slowed down towards the end and that extra second proved fatal for the tall Australian.

Left-hander Sachin Baby gets off the mark with one and AB also picks one as the required run rate keeps zooming up at a fast rate.

Just three runs from the Henriques over as RCB struggle to 92 for three in 12 overs, needing 103 runs from eight overs for victory at an asking rate of 12.87.

23:42   Rahul dismissed for 28-ball 51, RCB lose 2nd wicket

RCB 83-2 (10 ovs) vs Hyderabad 194-5 | SCORECARD

Back to back half-centuries for Rahul as he brings up the landmark, from just 26 balls. He turned a slower ball from Henriques on the leg side for two runs to complete his fifty, which has been laced with some splendid shots.

However, Henriques ends Rahul's fine knock, getting him caught behind by wicketkeeper Ojha. The right-hander tries to steer it fine but gets a thin edge to make his way back after a superb innings of 51 from 28 balls.

RCB are reduced to 83 for two in 10 overs, with another 112 needed from 10 overs for victory.

RCB 77-1 (9 ovs) vs Hyderabad 194-5 | SCORECARD

AB, on three, is dropped by Nehra as he top edges a pull shot off Barinder Sran. That could prove to be costly as AB is capable of making Sunrisers pay heavily for that blunder!

Henriques comes into the attack as Rahul crashes the second ball over the covers for a four. Two balls later, AB carves a wide delivery over point for the second four of the over as Henriques gives away 12 runs in his first over.

Rahul playing quite positively. Bran drops short as Rahul rocks back and pulls it over square leg for a six. Three balls later, he slashes at a wide delivery for a four through point as 13 runs come from the over.

RCB are progressing quite well, to race to 77 for one in nine overs. Rahul has blasted his way to 47 from 24 balls, scoring at a strike rate of nearly 200, while AB has made 15 from 13 balls.

RCB 45-1 (6 ovs) vs Hyderabad 194-5 | SCORECARD

Nehra shown scant test by his India and Delhi team mate Kohli as the right-hander makes room and smashes the pacer through the covers for a four to announce his presence with a bang.

The wicketkeeper is up for Bhuvi as he bowls a leg side wide before the keeper goes back.

Rahul uses his feet and lofts Bhuvi over the off-side for a four as he races to 24 from 11 balls, having hit four boundaries already.

The runs have come at a fair clip for RCB in the early overs as they race to 37 for no loss in four overs.

Nehra comes back with a good third over, giving away just five singles to build some pressure.

Mustafizur Rahman strikes in his first over, with the big wicket of Kohli. The RCB captain went for a big drive through the off-side but was caught by Reddy as the right-hander made his way back after scoring just 14.

A superb start from Mustafizur, giving away just three runs while taking the wicket of Kohli as RCB are reduced to 45 for one in six overs.

RCB 22-0 (2 ovs) vs Hyderabad 194-5 | SCORECARD

RCB have a new opening pair as KL Rahul drafted back to open the innings with captain Virat Kohli. If you remember, Shane Watson had opened in the last match while Rahul had batted in the middle order, when he stroked a quickfire fifty.

Veteran Ashish Nehra to bowl the first over. Kohli gets a single from the first ball before Rahul steers the next ball square on the off-side for two runs.

Nehra overpitches as Rahul punches him straight down past mid-off for a delightful boundary and takes one followed by two more singles as 10 runs come from the first over.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to bowl the second over. Rahul turns the first ball on the leg side where a fumble gives him two runs before the right-hander chops the second ball over the off-side for a four and then sensibly takes one.

Kohli content to play second fiddle as he takes another single to bring Rahul back on strike, who guides the last ball square on the off-side for a four.

RCB are off to a quickfire start, scoring 22 runs from the first two overs.

Hyderabad 194-5 (20 ovs) vs RCB | SCORECARD

Shamsi to bowl the 19th over. He does well, giving away just four runs from his first four balls as both Henriques and Deepak Hooda throw their bat at everything.

Henriques makes up for it as he comes down the track and lofts Shamsi straight down the ground for a six. The last ball is short as Henriques pulls it over midwicket for a four to get 14 runs from the penultimate over.

Henriques has smashed his way to 29 from 12 balls, having hit three sixes and a four.

Watson to bowl the final over. He starts with a wide before Hooda is run out off the next ball, trying to steal a second off a misfield but fails to make his crease in time.

New batsman Ashish Reddy has a big swing but fails to connect before he takes one to bring Henriques on strike, who can also get just one from the fourth ball.

Reddy digs out a yorker for a single and Watson does well to bowl another yorker as Henriques can pick just one.

Hyderabad finish on a mammoth 194 for five in their 20 overs with RCB's bowlers once again struggling to keep the runs down.

Henriques provided the late boost with a quickfire unbeaten 31 from 14 balls, but the star of the show was Warner, who blasted 92 from 50 balls, while Williamson smashed 50 from 38 balls as Hyderabad's batting sparkled bright at home.

However, Watson ends his innings a couple of balls later as Williamson attempts to cut a short ball but gets an edge and is caught behind for 50 from 38 balls.

The wickets continue to tumble for Hyderabad. This time Ojha hits Richardson straight into the hands of the fielder at long-on to fall for one.

Three wickets in the space of three overs have given RCB some hopes. But Moises Henriques won't let the momentum shift as he blasts Richardson for back to back sixes over midwicket to get 13 runs from the 18th over.

The Australian pacer has again gone for runs, conceding 45 runs in four overs while picking up two wickets.

He looks for another big hit down the ground but fails to make proper connection and is caught at long-off after an entertaining innings of 92 from 50 balls, having hit nine fours and five sixes. He put on a huge partnership of 124 runs from 73 balls for the second wicket with Williamson.
22:10   Warner's assault puts Hyderabad on course for a huge total

Warner ends the over on a high, lofting the last ball over long-on for a six.

The Hyderabad captain has cut loose. In the next over, he whips a full delivery from Richardson over midwicket for a six as even his rival skipper Kohli is seen applauding the shot.

The next ball is a short ball and Warner pulls it through the same region for a four.

Warner is proving to be unstoppable at the moment. Another short ball, which Warner ramps fine on the off-side for another boundary as the floodgates have opened for the Sunrisers.

Hyderabad 109-1 (13 ovs) vs RCB | SCORECARD

Shamsi comes back as he bowls a good second over, giving away just five runs as he resorts to bowling it full and on the stumps.

Watson is called back into the attack as RCB look to break this partnership and try to dismiss the dangerous Warner.

Warner is quick to rock back and pull a short ball from Watson through midwicket for a four.

Two balls later, Williamson shuffles across and plays a delightful flick over the midwicket region for a boundary.

Both the batsmen scoring freely and runs are coming at a good pace in the middle overs for Hyderabad.

Williamson makes room as he tries the lofted shot over the covers but gets an edge which passes close to the stumps and flies to the right of the keeper for a four.

Later in the over, he smashes one off the middle, hitting it across the line on the leg side for another four as Hyderabad race to 109 for one in 13 overs.

Spin from both ends as Rasool comes in from the other end. He manages to keep it tidy, giving away just six runs in his second over.

Williamson opens his boundary count as he makes room and plays the inside out lofted shot off Aaron. Two balls later, Warner steers it fine past the keeper on the off-side for another boundary as Aaron concedes 11 runs in his second over.

Rasool drops short as Warner cuts it behind point for a four to bring up his fifty from just 32 balls.

Hyderabad are looking good for a total around the 175-run mark as they reach 82 for one in 10 overs at the halfway stage.

21:29   Warner's attack rallies Hyderabad after an early wicket

Hyderabad 49-1 (6 ovs) vs RCB | SCORECARD

Just one over for Rasool in his first spell as he makes way for pacer Varun Aaron. Warner takes a single from the first ball before Williamson turns the next on the leg side to get off the mark with three runs.

Warner picks another single before Williamson sees off the rest of the over as Aaron makes a tidy start.

Harshal Patel comes into the attack and immediately suffers at the hands of Warner. He starts with a no-ball which goes for a four and the following free hit is slammed a straight six by the Australian left-hander.

Two balls later, Patel again drops short as Warner chops it over the off-side for a four. The pacer has made a poor start, giving away 16 runs in his first open with Hyderabad recovering after the early wicket to race to 49 for on in six overs.

Warner has got off to a good start, hitting 32 from 20 balls, while Warner is on three.

RCB introduce spin early as off-spinner Parvez Rasool comes into the attack. Warner gets a leg bye from the second ball before Dhawan chips down the track and lofts the fourth ball straight down the ground for a four followed by two singles from the last two balls.

Warner makes Richardson pay for erring in length as he pulls a short ball behind square on the leg side for a four. He pulls the next one but this time he hits it over mid-on, where Shamsi does well to retrieve back to keep it down to two.

Two balls later, Richardson strikes with the wicket of Dhawan, who chips it straight back to the bowler to be dismissed for 11.

He takes a single from the next and Dhawan takes one from the last ball as six runs come from the first over.

Shane Watson to bowl the second over. There is a slight hint of movement as Dhawan gets an inside edge on the leg side for one and Warner turns the first ball square on the leg side for two runs.

Spin is introduced as leg-spinner Amit Mishra comes into the attack. He makes a good start, giving away just four runs, in which he had a huge shout for LBW turned down off the last ball against Uthappa.

Delhi persist with Brathwaite despite him conceding 22 runs in his previous over. And he manages to take the key wicket of Yadav, courtesy of a brilliant catch from the younger Iyer. He came charging in from long-on and dived forward to complete a stunning catch.

Yadav walks back for 21 from 13 balls with KKR reduced to 94 for four in the 12th over.

Rajagopal Satish gets off the mark with a single before Uthappa hits the fifth ball through midwicket for two runs.

He oversteps off the last ball to give a no-ball and then sends down a big wide down the leg side which the keeper fails to collect give five wides.

Kolkata 59-3 (8 ovs) vs Delhi 186-8 | SCORECARD

KKR hold back Suryakumar Yadav as Yusuf Pathan walks in at No. 4 after the gamble to promote Chawla has failed.

Shami tries a short ball which Pathan pulls but mistimes it on the leg side where he gets two runs.

The next ball is full and this time Pathan gets it off the middle, lofting it over mid-off for a four and keeps strike with a single from the last ball.

Chris Morris comes into the attack, replacing Zaheer, who bowled a wonderful first spell of two for 18 in three overs.

17:33   Billings, Nair slam half-centuries to power Delhi to 186 vs KKR

Delhi 186-8 (20 ovs) vs Kolkata | SCORECARD

You don't bowl length deliveries to Brathwaite in the final overs. Yadav errs with his length as the tall West Indian heaves him over midwicket for a six. He gets an edge off the next ball for a boundary past the wicketkeeper as the runs continue to flow.

Billings looks to sweep the fourth ball but misses a full toss and is bowled after a superb innings of 54 from 34 balls, having hit three fours and two sixes.

The young Rishabh Pant gets off the mark with a single and Brathwaite retains strike with a single from the last ball.

Nair lofts the last two balls of the over, straight down the ground, but fails to get much power and gets twos from successive deliveries.

Nair in full flow now as he crashes a full delivery from Yadav over long-off for a six. That superb shot also raises the 100-run stand for the fourth wicket, from just 67 balls with runs coming freely for the hosts in the last few overs.

But Yadav gets revenge with the wicket of Nair, who is trapped leg before wicket after a splendid innings of 68 from 50 balls. That is the third LBW dismissal of the innings and all have been ruled by umpire Marais Erasmus.

That was the slower ball and deceived Nair completely, but was the ball heading down the leg side. A close call that!

New batsman Chris Morris, who played a blinder in the last match, walks out to the middle. But he lasts just two balls as he is bowled by Yadav for a duck.

Carlos Brathwaite gets one on the pads first up which he flicks fine for a four to get off the mark in some style. He steers the next ball on the either side, fine on the off-side to make it successive fours from the first two balls faced.

Hogg continues to bowl tight and both Nair and Billings are content to milk him for ones and twos. The veteran Australian, who missed the last match because of a stomach bug, has bowled well to give away 21 runs from three overs.

Delhi are 99 for three in 13 overs and well on course for a total around the 160-run mark, provided one of the two batsmen manage to stay till the end.

Nair continues to look in control as he ramps a short ball from Holder over the keeper for a four as Delhi cross the 100-run mark, in the 14th over.

Nair then takes Narine to the cleaners. He sweeps the first ball of the 15th over for a four through square leg which also brings up his fifty, from 39 balls.

He again sweeps the next ball for another four through the same region and two balls later, he plays the reverse sweep to make it three fours in the over as Narine goes for 14.
