At tea on Day 2, India have reached 62 for one in 22 overs, still needing another 138 runs to avoid the follow-on.

Vijay has batted well after a cautious start to hit 31 from 73 balls, including a few boundaries against Rashid. Pujara was unbeaten on seven at the break.

Rahul looked good during his innings of 24 before he was bowled by Ali, trying to drive against the spin through the off-side.

Earlier, Buttler stroked 76 to carry England to 400 in their first innings with Ravi Ashwin claiming 6-112 and Jadeja taking 4-109.
