 Aus 137-6 (17 ovs) vs India 184-3 | SCORECARD

Australia's last hope seems to have finished as captain Finch is run out attempting a quick single.

He walks back after a splendid innings of 74 from 48 balls to leave Australia in further strife at 124 for five in 15.2 overs.

The wickets keep tumbling for the Aussies, who have not hit a single boundary in the last three overs.

Ashwin concedes just two runs in his third over, leaving Australia to get 59 runs from the last four overs for victory.

Dhoni going for the kill as he brings back Jadeja, to bowl his fourth and final over.

Three singles from the first three deliveries before Faulkner heaves a length ball over midwicket for a six.

The next ball is a yorker which beats Faulkner and even keeper Dhoni for a couple of byes.

He goes after the last ball, getting an inside edge which deflects off Dhoni's pads onto the stumps. There is an appeal for stumping as Faulkner's backfoot went up in the air and he fails to get it back in time.

That is a freak dismissal as Faulkner walks back for 10 to leave Australia on 137 for six in 17 overs, with another 48 needed from three overs for victory.
