Dhoni cuts the third ball over point as the fielder at thirdman fails to collect it cleanly to give away two runs followed by a single.

Kohli makes room and drives the fifth ball, which is full, past the fielder at point for a four to take India past the 150-run mark, in the 17th over. He takes a single from the last ball to retain strike.

Kohli drives Boland to deep midwicket where Glenn Maxwell of all people misfields to give away two runs. He does the same off the next delivery to get two more runs before making room and slicing the third ball over the thirdman region for a four and collects a single from the next ball.

Boland bowls a waist-high full toss to Dhoni, who pulls it square for a four. Kohli is unhappy that the umpires have not called it a no-ball for height.

India are sitting pretty on 166 for two in 18 overs with Kohli on 47 from 26 balls and Dhoni on eight from four balls.
