19:13   Confident India face Bangladesh test
Welcome to the coverage of the ICC World T20 between India and Bangladesh in Bangalore, on Wednesday.

Galvanised by the victory over arch-rivals Pakistan, a confident India will look for another colossal one when they square off against an embattled Bangladesh to inch closer to the semi-finals.

Under tremendous pressure after the opening loss to New Zealand, the champions of the inaugural edition of the tournament, in 2007, roared back by beating Pakistan in a high-voltage clash at the Eden Gardens to put their campaign back on track.

Victory in Wednesday's Super 10 Group 2 match can take the hosts a step closer to a berth in the semi-finals. They must ensure that they win big to improve their Net Run Rate, which took a hit following the loss to New Zealand.

Bangladesh are on the verge of being knocked out of the tournament and a win on Wednesday will go a long way in giving them a mathematical chance of making the last-four stage.

19:13   Taskin's suspension upheld
Bangladesh's woes continued as fast bowler Taskin Ahmed's suspension from bowling in international cricket was upheld at a review hearing conducted by Michael Beloff, the International Cricket Council's judicial commissioner, on Tuesday.

The ICC said Taskin had 'exercised his right to request an expeditious review of his case by a judicial commissioner' following his suspension for an illegal bowling action.

According to the ICC, the hearing lasted several hours and in which numerous legal challenges were made on behalf of the player.

"Having carefully considered those arguments and the responses of the ICC, Mr Beloff has now notified all parties concerned of his decision that Taskin's suspension from bowling in international cricket shall be upheld and indicated that a written reasoned decision will be provided in due course," read a statement from the ICC.

In the meantime, Taskin, at any time following appropriate remedial work, can apply to the ICC for a re-assessment of his bowling action.
