WI: 123/7 (19.4 overs)

vs SA 122/8

Despite losing the experienced Samuels at a crucial time, Carlos Brathwaite keeps his cool to hit a six off the last over to seal the game for West Indies.

The Proteas now keep their 'chokers' tag intact and will most likely make an early return from 2016 World T20.

They have not won a single trophy at ICC World Cup of World T20.

Another disappointment for T20 heavyweights like AB de Villiers and Faf du Plessis as South Africa yet again fail to deliver as per expectations.

South Africa will now have to beat Sri Lanka by a handsome margin and hope that England lose to them on Saturday to qualify for the semi-finals.

The Windies qualify for semi-finals and will most likely top Group 1.
