Mishra gifts root a full toss which Root dismisses through square leg for a four, he has looked in control since the start.

However, in the next over Mishra bowls a perfect leg-spinning delivery, flighted and full, driving Root forward who is beaten by the turn. He sweeps the last ball for two runs on the leg side.

Jadeja builds the pressure on Moeen with three dot balls in a row before the left-hander plays the paddle sweep for two runs over the keeper.

Mishra bowls another full toss which Root sweeps over midwicket for a four as the leg-spinner continues to dish out freebies. In a bid to stop the flow of runs, Mishra switches to round the wicket but again he is on the pads as Root flicks him to deep square leg for one.

England are looking good on 191 for three in 58 overs with Root on 88 and Moeen Ali on 36.
