England 103-5 vs India 455

A collective and disciplined bowling effort from India saw England finish day 2 on a disappointing 103/5 in reply to India's first innings score of 455.

Ravichandran Ashwin was pick-of-the-bowlers for India claiming two wickets including the priced scalp of Root.

The visitors are still trailing by 352 runs with their top five batsmen dismissed.

During pitch report, Gavaskar says that he will want India to bat again even if they are in a position to enforce the follow-on.

The legendary batsman feels that this pitch will see more wear and tear in the last two days and India should use these comparatively good conditions for batting.
