India 228-4 (71 ovs) & 318 vs NZ 262 | Scorecard

Leg-spinner Ish Sodhi comes back and strikes with the key wicket of Pujara. Bowling from round the wicket Sodhi gets it to turn big from the rough outside the leg stumps as Pujara looks to defend but is caught at slip by Ross Taylor.

Pujara walks back after a good innings of 78 from 152 balls, hitting 10 fours.

New batsman Rohit Sharma defends the remaining three deliveries to end a good over from Sodhi.

This will be a big innings for Rohit, considering his Test career which has struggled to take off. Another failure here and he could lose his spot for the next game.
