India 400-7 (110 ovs) vs SL | Scorecard

Spin introduced straightaway after the drinks break as chinaman spinner Lakshan Sandakan comes into the attack. Both batsmen look quite comfortable as they pick three singles in the over. Kuldeep survives a leg before shout off the last ball as he looks to defend but is beaten by one which comes in sharply. The impact looks to be outside the off-stump and that probably saves Kuldeep.

Lahiru comes back for another spell, his second spell on Day 2. He hits Kuldeep on the pads as the left-hander looks to flick but misses and the leg before appeal is rejected. Two singles and a leg bye in the over as India slowly but steadily inch their way to the 400-run mark.

Kuldeep has another close shave as he looks to sweep Sandakan but is beaten and wicketkeeper Dickwella nearly pulls off a smart stumping. He attempts the sweep again but fails to yet again make some connection before he takes a single from the last ball to keep strike.

In the spinner's next over, Kuldeep comes down the track and drives down the ground for a couple. The next ball is guided behind point for three runs as Kuldeep continues to look more solid.

A desperate Sri Lanka bring in the experienced Malinda Pushpakumara from the other end.

Pandya immediately targets him as he comes down and lofts the second ball over mid-on for a four before the fielder is pushed back allowing him an easy single to the fielder two balls later.

Pandya looking to target Pushpakumara as he slaps the first ball of his next over through midwicket for two runs. A single to the right-hander brings up India's 400, in the 110th over.
