SL 177-6 (34 ovs) vs India 375-5 | Scorecard

Axar bowls a tidy over, giving away just three runs as Sri Lanka reach 147 for five in 30 overs, needing another 229 runs in 20 overs for victory at more than 11 runs per over.

Debutant Shardul, who bowled an excellent first spell, comes back. Mathews takes a single to bring up his half-century from 61 balls before he crashes the last ball of the over straight down the ground past mid-on for a four.

Hasaranga attacks Axar as he heaves him across the line over midwicket for a four.

Sri Lanka not posing much of a challenge with the bat as they calmly go about taking the ones and twos with the target getting out of reach.

Hasaranga slog sweeps Axar over midwicket and manages to get it over midwicket for a four.  He comes down and lofts the next ball straight down the ground for a six and Mathews carts the spinner over midwicket a couple of balls later for another four.

But Sri Lanka lose another wicket as Hasaranga is run out for 15. He was at the non-striker's end and went a long way after Mathews had hit it on the leg side and failed to make his crease back.
