India 16-4 (13 ovs) vs SL | Scorecard

Mathews finally bowls a rare loose delivery as he slips one down the leg side as wicketkeeper Dickwella fumbles for two wides.

Pandey is beaten again by the incoming delivery before he takes a single off the last ball to get off the mark.

A horror start for India as they are reduced to 11 for three in 10 overs.

Lakmal continues as Sri Lanka look for more wickets to continue their supremacy with the ball.

Pandey is beaten again outside the off-stump before he gets  a leading edge off the next ball trying to flick it but the ball falls just short of the fielder at point.

Two balls later, Lakmal gets one to come in sharply as Pandey offers no shot as it passes close to the stumps.

First change in the bowling as Mathews gets a break after a good first spell of one for eight in five overs.

He makes way for pacer Nuwan Pradeep. Iyer slaps the second ball square on the off-side for two runs before he survives a close appeal for LBW as the umpire turns it down and Lankans decide not to review it.

Iyer is all squared up off the last ball as he tries to flick and gets his bat down on time to get the leading edge.

Lakmal continues as he bowls his seventh over on the trot. Iyer is struggling with his technique and his batting is all over the place. He goes hard trying to drive one but again gets an inside edge for a single on the leg side.

The extra over for Lakmal pays rich dividends. Pandey is squared up by the movement off the pitch as he tries to flick it but gets the outside edge and is caught at first slip for two.

Lakmal has taken three for six in a brilliant spell with the new ball as India slip further to be reduced to a lowly 16 for four after 13 overs.
