SL 7-1 (4 ovs) vs India 112 | Scorecard

India's opening bowlers -- Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah -- have their task cut out.

The batsmen let them down big time as the team folded up for just 112 and they need quite a few wickets with the new ball to make a match out of this.

Danushka Gunathilaka and Upul Tharanga will be keen to play out the new ball. The former defends the first two balls from Bhuvneshwar before steering the third ball to thirdman for a single.

Tharanga flays his bat at a wide ball only to get a thick outside edge to thirdman for one to get off the mark.

Jasprit Bumrah to bowl the second over. Tharanga again chases a wide delivery and gets a thick edge which falls short of Dinesh Karthik at gully, who does well to dive and half stop and keep it down to just a single.

Gunathilaka plays a loose shot off the next ball and repeats it again to be beaten twice in a row.

Bhuvneshwar bowls a beauty to Tharanga, who is all squared up by the away going delivery as he tries to turn it on the leg side. Tharanga all at sea as he is beaten again.

However, he gets the next ball off the middle as he smashes a wide delivery from Bhuvi square on the off-side for a boundary.

Gunathilaka looks to break the shackles as he has a wild swing against Bumrah but is beaten. Two balls later, he makes room and makes another attempt to hit out but gets the edge and is caught behind for one.
