India 392-4 (50 ovs) vs SL | Scorecard

Rohit Sharma, the king of ODI cricket, does it yet again with another double hundred!

Leading the side in absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit led the way with a majestic innings of 208 not out from 153 balls, hitting 13 fours and 12 sixes.

And what better day to get it than on your wedding anniversary with your wife watching from the stands!

Rohit, who was the only batsman to hit two double centuries, has now taken the record even further with three double hundreds in ODIs.

Starting off cautiously, Rohit took his time to get going before he changed gears quite efficiently in the second half of the innings.

Rohit got his fifty from 65 balls, 100 from 115 balls, 150 from 133 balls, and finally to the 200 from 151 balls. The second 100 came from just 36 balls as Rohit treated the Mohali crowd to a barrage of sixes.

Youngster Shreyas Iyer showed his potential with the bat, hitting an entertaining 88 from 70 balls.

Rohit and Dhawan had laid the foundation with a 115-run stand for the opening wicket with the latter hitting 68 from 67 balls.

The Indians bounced back in style after their below-par showing with the bat in Dharamsala.
