Kohli turns Williams on the leg side for a couple before he flicks the pacer through midwicket for a four to bring up his century in style, his 28th in ODIs.

Kohli brings up the landmark from 108 balls, having hit 12 fours and a six. This is his 18th century in a run chase, the most by an players in the history of ODIs.

The result is a foregone conclusion with India needing just 15 runs from the remaining 15 overs for victory.

Pacer Rovman Powell comes into the attack. Three singles before Karthik clips a full delivery through the square leg region to close in on his fifty.

Roston Chase comes on from the other end as West Indies give their regular bowlers a break. Karthik takes a single to bring up his fifty from 52 balls before Kohli finishes off the match in grand style as he lofts Chase for a six over long-on.

India register an emphatic eight-wicket victory with 13.1 overs to spare to win the five-match series 3-1.

Williams comes back as Kohli gets an inside edge past the wicketkeeper for a couple  before he punches the next ball through the covers for two more runs.

The fifth ball is wide as Kohli flays it through the covers for a four to take his score into the 90s before he takes a single from the last ball to keep strike.

The fast bowlers have managed to stem the flow of boundaries but India won't be bothered with not many required for victory.

Kohli is on the verge of another century in a run chase, while a half-century will be a timely boost for comeback man Karthik.

Karthik clips a full delivery from Holder through midwicket for a four to raise the 100-run stand for the third wicket with Kohli from just 92 balls.

Karthik has smashed his way to 44 from 46 balls, with the help of five fours, while Kohli has cruised to 95 from 104 balls.

India are 184 for two in 34 overs, with another 22 needed from 16 overs for victory.

The Windies bowlers continue to leak boundaries. Karthik cuts a short ball from Joseph as the fielder on the thirdman fence messes up and gives away a four.

The struggling Nurse is hit for a couple of four in the next over. A wide half-volley is driven through the covers by Kohli before Karthik ends the over in style as he cuts a short ball through the vacant thirdman region for the same result.

Karthik has smashed his way to 34 from 29 balls, hitting four fours, adding 69 runs from 55 balls for the third wicket with Kohli as India continue to dominate.

Bishoo takes over from Joseph but no stopping the Indians. He gifts Kohli a full toss which he despatches over midwicket for a four to take his score to 79.

Captain Holder brings himself back into the attack. Kohli picks a single before Karthik tries a couple of shots but is unable to get a run.

India are well placed on 161 for two in 30 overs, with 45 needed from 20 overs for victory.

Bishoo bowling a few loose deliveries. He bowls another long hop as Kohli pulls it over the midwicket fence for a six as India continue their dominating showing in the match.

The boundaries are flowing more regularly now. This time Karthik drives the half-volley from Nurse through the covers for his second four to race to 18 from 15 balls.

West Indies bring back Alzarri Joseph as they look to take a wicket or two and bring themselves back in the contest.

He concedes three runs in the over as India reach 126 for two in 25 overs, needing another 80 from 25 overs for victory at just over three runs per over.

Nurse is leaking too many runs for West Indies. Kohli late cuts the last ball fine the on the off-side for a four as Nurse goes for 23 runs from his first three overs.

Kohli not letting the wicket affect the momentum. He reads the slower ball from Williams early as he flicks it over midwicket for a four. The next ball is flicked square on the leg side as Kohli picks up three runs as India reach 94 for two in 20 overs.

Karthik looking confident as he hammers a short ball from Bishoo through the covers for his first boundary. He tries the shot again, this time squarer but can't find the gap on the off-side and he then takes a single.

Spin from both ends as off-spinner Ashley Nurse comes into the attack, to replace Williams, who bowled five overs for 23 runs.

Karthik clips the second ball fine on the leg side for two runs to take India past the 100-run mark, in the 22nd over.

In the same over, Kohli smashes Nurse through the covers for a four to bring up his half-century, his 44th in ODIs, in some style from 67 balls.

Kohli getting increasingly confident out in the middle. Bishoo gives some width and Kohli is quick to slap it past point for a four.

In the next over, the India captain is quick to steal a second run after the bowler Williams fails to stop the throw cleanly as four runs come from the over.

The runs are coming quite easily for the Indians as they collect another three runs off the next over, bowled by Bishoo.

In Bishoo's next over, Rahane gets a lifeline as he comes down the track and looks to heave the leg-spinner on the leg side. He is lucky that he gets an inside edge which beats the wicketkeeper and gets him four runs. India follow it up with four more singles to get eight runs from the over.

Kohli glances Williams fine on the leg side for a four to take his score into the 40s and also go past Rahane, but the India captain has also had majority of the strike since he has walked out to the middle.

Against the run of play, India lose the wicket of Rahane, who is trapped leg before wicket by Bishoo for 39, after putting on 79 runs for the second wicket with Kohli. Rahane made the mistake of playing all over a full delivery which went straight on and caught him right in front of the stumps.

Spin introduced as leggie Devendra Bishoo comes into to bowl the 11th over of the innings. He beats Rahane with the very first delivery as the right-hander looks to play the cut shot but misses. He takes a single from the fifth ball for the only run of the over.

Kesrick Williams from the other end as he replaces Holder, who bowled five overs for 21 runs in his first spell.

He gives away four runs in his first over as India reach 55 for one in 12 overs, with the duo also bringing up their 50-run stand for the second wicket.

West Indies have been able to dry up the boundaries with just 15 coming from the last five overs but India look in no problem at the moment.

Kohli looks well prepared to counter the short ball tactics from Holder as he defends it to gully and takes a single followed by two more singles from the rest of the over.

In the next over, Kohli makes a statement as he pulls a short ball from Joseph through midwicket for a convincing boundary.

The last ball is clipped to fine leg for a single to take India past the 50-run mark, in the ninth over.

Holder bowls a good over, with six dot balls in a row for the first maiden of the West Indian innings.

India are off to a good start as they reach 50 for one in 10 overs with Kohli on 22 and Rahane on 24.

Poor bowling by Holder as he gifts Rahane a full delivery on the pads which he glances fine for a four. Three balls later, he slaps a wide delivery square on the off-side for another boundary and repeats the shot off the last ball to make three fours in the over.

Kohli gets into the act with a couple of boundaries off Joseph in the next over. The first ball is pitched up as Kohli drives it straight down the ground past mid-off for a stylish four before he pulls the fourth ball behind square for another four.

India looking to take control after the early wicket as they reach 40 for one in seven overs, with 21 of them coming in the last two overs.

Virat Kohli has come in quite early and he will be up against Jason Holder, who has given him quite a few problems with the short ball and also taken his wicket twice in the series.

Kohli clips Holder through square leg for two runs to get off the mark.

Joseph looking to keep it short outside the off-stump to Rahane, who defends the first three balls before steering it to thirdman for a single and Kohli blocks the last two balls of the over.

In the next over, Rahane (5) gets a lifeline as Bishoo at point puts down a simple catch after the India opener had hit a cut shot straight into his hands.

As expected Holder testing Kohli with some wide bouncers as the India captain is happy to watch it sail through or defend with soft hands.

Rahane breaks the shackles as he wristly flicks Joseph from well outside the off-stump through midwicket for his first boundary.

Rahane takes a single from the fourth ball before Kohli ends the over with two runs from the last ball, through the covers as India reach 19 for one in five overs.
