14:44   India women look to make history at Lord's

England captain Heather Knight has won the toss and elected to bat first against India in the final of the Women's World Cup at Lord's in England on Sunday.

England start as favourites to lift their fourth Women's World Cup title at Lord's on Sunday, but face an Indian side high on confidence after knocking out defending champions Australia in the semi-finals.

The Indian squad's ability to grind out results under pressure will not have gone unnoticed, least of all by the English, who were beaten by India by 35 runs in their first match of the tournament.

The Mithali Raj-led squad has been living a dream so far in the tournament, the biggest moment of which has been the 36-run win over six-time champions Australia in the semi-finals.

And the side will look to ensure that its gritty campaign reaches the logical conclusion after putting in the hard yards consistently in the tournament.

India's best performance in the event has been a runners-up finish in the 2005 edition, where the team had lost to Australia in the final. With Australia out of the way now, Sunday could prove to be the moment that changes the course of women's cricket in India.

Playing XI:

England Women's XI: L Winfield, T Beaumont, S Taylor, H Knight, N Sciver, F Wilson, K Brunt, J Gunn, A Shrubsole, L Marsh, A Hartley

India women's XI: P Raut, S Mandhana, M Raj, H Kaur, D Sharma, V Krishnamurthy, S Pandey, S Verma, J Goswami, R Gayakwad, P Yadav
