After being hit for a couple of fours in his first over, Plunkett makes a good comeback as he concedes just two runs in his next over, including a wide and a leg bye.

Stokes and Plunkett looking to build some pressure with some tight bowling in the middle as Australia reach 76 for one in 15 overs, scoring 20 from the last five overs.

Australia manage to break the shackles with three boundaries off Stokes, in the 16th over.

Finch flicks the first ball through midwicket for a four and then cuts the next ball past point before Smith edges the fourth ball past the keeper for the third boundary of the over, which goes for 14 runs and raises the 50-run stand between the two for the second wicket.

Finch turns Plunkett on the leg side for a single to bring up his fifty from 47 balls.

At the first drinks break, Australia are well placed on 93 for one in 17 overs with Finch on 50 and Smith on 18.
