England 58-3 (10 ovs) vsAus 277-9 | Scorecard

Morgan makes a cracking start after the resumption of play under bright sunshine at Edgbaston with two boundaries in a row.

Starc starts with a wide half-volley which Morgan drives through the covers for a four and repeats the shot off the next ball for the same result as the England captain races to 22 from 16 balls.

He misses another chance to score a boundary as he bowls one short and wide but Morgan misses the cut shot and is beaten as he looks to slash it square.

Morgan keeps strike as he knocks the last ball down to thirdman for a single.

The England captain continues to attack as he plays an uppish drive off Hazlewood which goes in the gap past point for another boundary, the third in seven balls since the resumption of play.

Ben Stokes gets some good timing as he punches a full delivery straight down the ground past the bowler for a couple to get off the mark and also take England past the 50-run mark in the eighth over.

Pat Cummins comes into the attack. He makes a good start, keeping the free-flowing Morgan quiet to start off with a maiden.

Hazlewood tries a short ball and again Morgan is quick to pull it over the square leg fence for a six.

Morgan has smashed his way to 34 from 32 balls as England rally to 58 for three in 10 overs.
