Aus 253-8 (46 ovs) vs England | Scorecard

One wicket leads to another as Rashid strikes in the next over. The googly does the trick as Matthew Wade is caught in two minds as he initially looks for the sweep but trying to flick but gets a leading and the leg-spinner completes a simple catch off his own bowling.

Rashid strikes again three balls later as Mitchell Starc top edges a full toss as he tries to sweep and is caught by Joe Root for a duck.

Australia have lost three wickets in the space of 10 balls to be reduced to 245 for seven in 44 overs.

England on the attack as they persist with Wood, wanting to finish off Australia as soon as possible. Head and Pat Cummins content to play cautiously against the pacer and not give him any more wickets as they pick just four singles from the 45th over.

Cummins paddles Rashid fine on the leg side for a couple before the veteran leg-spinner strikes with the last ball of his spell. Cummins looks to defend but ends up offering a simple catch back to Rashid, who ends with wonderful figures of four for 41 in 10 overs.
