Aus 178-3 (31 ovs) vs England | Scorecard

Rashid has bowled in the middle overs, keeping things tight while also picking up a wicket, giving away just 24 runs in six overs.

Plunkett drops short as new batsman Travis Head cuts it over point for a four and gets two runs from the last ball.

Rashid giving it generous flight as Smith looks to drive it through the off-side but can't find the gap, playing four dot balls in a row followed by a single off the fifth ball and Head picks one from the last ball.

Australia are 172 for three in 30 overs and would be looking to increase the tempo in the remaining 20 overs to take their total past the 300-run mark.

Smith plays a nice drive through the covers off Plunkett, he has merely punched but gets good timing on it as it speeds away from the field fora  four.

What a way to bring up a half-century, from 68 balls, in a must-win game as captain Smith rises to the occasion yet again!
