Junaid Khan gets a timely breakthrough.

After being hammered for 13 runs in his previous over, he has done well to come back by getting the wicket.

Gunathilaka tries to clear the in-field, but his push sees the ball balloon in the air and into the hands of Shoaib Malik at mid-off.

Kusal Mendis comes to the crease.

He takes five balls to get off the mark with Junaid getting the ball do all sorts of things.

And that is a wicket-maiden!

Amir continues and it's a nice bouncer to Gunathilaka to begin the over.

He then gives the batsman  a well pitched ball that the batsman cracks but only to find the fielder at cover.

Gunathilaka walks across and plays the ball off his pads for a single past mid-wicket.

Junaid continues, bowling to Gunathilaka.

First ball is short and wide and the bad ball is slapped through covers for a boundary.

The second boundary off the over comes off a flick over mid-on. Gunathilaka now getting into the groove.

14:40   The winner of today's match will progress to the semi-final

Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed has won the toss and elected to put Sri Lanka in to bat.

Both the teams lost their opening matches but bounced back into reckoning after producing two of the tournament's biggest upsets so far.

Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed had attributed the win against South Africa to good bowling against a strong side and he would look for another such display against the Lankans today.

Sri Lanka looked pedestrian in their opening game defeat at the hands of South Africa, failing collectively in the absence of their captain Angelo Mathews.

The return of Mathews seemed to have inspired the Lankans in their match against India as they pulled off a dramatic win over the defending champions who apparently had no chinks in their armour until the loss.

Expect some edge-of-the-seat action as the teams from the sub-continent vie for a semis berth.

The Teams (From):

Pakistan: Sarfraz Khan (capt.), Ahmed Shahzad, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Hasan Ali, Imad Wasim, Junaid Khan, Mohammed Amir, Mohammed Hafeez, Shadab Khan and Shoaib Malik.
