India have managed to keep Bangladesh down to 264 for seven in their 50 overs on a good batting track at Edgbaston.

The two pacers -- Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah -- were brilliant for India as they picked two wickets each and bowled brilliantly in the slog overs.

Kedar Jadhav made a vital contribution with the ball, picking up two for 22 in six overs, including the wickets of the two well-set batsmen Tamim (70) and Rahim (61) after they had put on 123 runs for the third wicket.

If India's top order comprising of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli can continue their good form then there will be no stopping the Indians.

14:26   Confident India face 'dangerous' Bangladesh in semis
Welcome to the coverage of the second ICC Champions Trophy semi-final between India and Bangladesh in Birmingham, on Thursday.

Having won two of their three group games, defending champions India are overwhelming favourites against the next door neighbours but in a game of glorious uncertainties, it will be foolhardy to take Bangladesh lightly, especially after their superb come from behind victory against New Zealand.

The winners of the match will take on Pakistan in the final, after they had thrashed England in the first semi-final on Wednesday.

India, after a clinical performance against South Africa, would like to maintain the same intensity against a team that could prove to be a proverbial banana peel for them.

Batsmen in form, bowlers on target and fielding top notch-- Virat Kohli's men have covered all bases so far and Mashrafe Mortaza's men -- after their lucky entry into semi- finals -- will have to pull off something really special at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

India captain Kohli also warned his team not to underestimate Bangladesh, a team who have improved dramatically over the past few years to the point where they are now one game away from reaching a first final at an ICC event.

"It's no surprise anymore to anyone that they are doing really well," Kohli added. "They are a very dangerous side on their day and everyone realises that ... Bangladesh have taken huge strides."

It will be a special day for senior pro Yuvraj Singh, who will become the fifth Indian cricketer to complete the landmark of 300 One-Day Internationals.

"His contribution to Indian cricket has been outstanding. He has been a total match-winner for India, won us so many big tournaments and big series, and this is just a testimony to the kind of talent he possesses," Kohli said on Wednesday.
