West Indies are looking to bowl it short to Kohli, who gets on top of one and pulls it through midwicket for his first boundary.

In the next over, Bishoo has a confident appeal for LBW against Dhawan upheld by umpire Kumara Dharmasena.

The left-hander, who made 87 from 91 balls, looks to whip it through the leg-side but misses and is struck in front of the stumps. So the decision stays as India waste their review and lose the wicket of Dhawan, who misses out on a deserved century.

Kohli is looking in control as he flicks Holder fine on the leg side for a couple and then hits the next ball through the covers for two more runs and picks a single off the last ball.

Bishoo bowls another good over, conceding just one run, with Yuvraj playing three dot balls in a row.

Cummins though surprises Kohli with a quick short as the India captain takes his eyes off and looks to duck but is struck on the gloves.

Cummins gets Rahane to edge one as it flies past the wicketkeeper and goes for a four to bring up the Mumbai right-hander's half-century, from 67 balls.

A good knock on his comeback to the ODI team by Rahane and he will be keen to carry on and look to make most of the opportunity.

Joseph comes back, to replace Cummins. He starts with a short ball as Dhawan pulls it for a six to raise his half-century in grand style, from 63 balls.

Rahane gets another edge as it goes past the wicketkeeper for a four to get 13 runs from the over.

Unless West Indies can get a couple of wickets in the next few overs, they are staring at a huge total with a long batting line-up to follow for the Indians.

Pacer Miguel Cummins comes on as West Indies make a double change.  He starts with three dot balls before he drops short and Rahane pulls it through midwicket for a four.

Nurse looks to keep Dhawan quiet as he bowls full and quick and the left-hander is content to play out a maiden over.

India's openers looking to cut loose. Holder drops it short and also offers width as Dhawan cuts it over point for a boundary, falling just short of the ropes.

West Indies fast bowlers have bowled a lot of loose deliveries and been unable to build any kind of pressure on the two opening batsmen.

Rahane looking more and more comfortable as he flicks Joseph on the leg side for a couple followed by a single each to the two openers.

Holder again drops short as Dhawan plays the trademark cut short but Jason Carter at point comes up with a diving stop to save a certain boundary. He taps the next ball on the off-side and steals a quick run and unbelievably the throw from the fielder hits him on the same spot on the left elbow where he was earlier struck by Holder as the physio has to come out again.

Rahane does the same as Dhawan responds to the quick call and they get another run courtesy of the overthrow.

Holder bowls another long hop as Rahane slaps it through point for a four and then clips the next ball behind square for one.

Rahane gaining in confidence as he plays a cracking cover drive off a half-volley from Joseph for another four. He tries the shot again off the fifth ball but this time he doesn't get proper timing and the fielder in the cover does well to stop it.

India have made a good start after being put into bat as they reach 47 for no loss in 10 overs.

Dhawan has carried on his good run with the bat from the ICC Champions Trophy to hit 23 from 29 balls, while Rahane has got going after a cautious start to score 22 from 31 balls.
