Australia off to a good start after India bowled out for 189

Aus 27-0 (10 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin comes into the attack, to bowl the sixth over. Renshaw is hit on the pads as the Indians appeal for LBW but it is turned down and he does it again. Both times India decide against going for the DRS with the ball looking to be slipping down the leg side.

A good opening over from Ashwin, giving Renshaw something to think about.

Ishant gets Warner to edge one as Rahane dives full length his left at gully but is unable to hold on to a tough chance. India's catching let them down big time in Pune and they need to improve their catching if they want to make a comeback in this game.

Unlike Lyon who took his time to find his rhythm, India need Ashwin to get among wickets right from the start and this desperation could make try a few things without getting settled in.

At the moment, Ashwin is bowling too full and Australia's openers are comfortably smothering the spin off their front foot as the visitors reach 27 for no loss in 10 overs.
