Aus 18-0 (5 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

It remains to be seen what tactics India adopt with the ball? Will they open with Ravichandran Ashwin or have the pacers bowl a few overs with the new ball?

It's pace to begin with as Ishant Sharma opens the bowling for the hosts, who will be desperate for a few early wickets.

Warner gets an edge off the second ball to thirdman for a single to get Australia off the mark. The ball is keeping low as Ishant bowls it wide and wicketkeeper Saha does well to stop it.

Umesh Yadav to bowl from the other end. He starts with a loosener as Warner smashes the first ball through the covers for a four and then picks a single.

Yadav drifts on the pads as Renshaw turns it square on the leg side for three runs.

Australia won't mind playing against the pacers on a wicket where the spinners are getting a lot of assistance. If Warner gets off to a start, then Australia will score the runs at a very quick rate and will be in a dominant position by stumps.

Ishant bowls a good delivery to Warner, angling into the left-hander from around the wicket as he is beaten.

Renshaw steers a wide delivery from Umesh past the slips for a four before he takes a single.

No signs of spin yet as Australia's openers have it easy, reaching 18 for no loss in five overs.
