India's bowlers continue to chip away at the wickets as Australia are reduced to 163 for five at the tea break, just 26 runs behind India's first inning score.

India picked up three wickets for 76 runs in 35 overs in the post-lunch session to keep themselves in the hunt.

Jadeja claimed the big wicket of Renshaw, who was stumped for 60, before he had Handscomb caught at midwicket for 16.

Ashwin, who got to bowl from the Pavilion End which has assisted the spinners, claimed one for 61 in 34 overs, while Jadeja picked up three for 32.

If India pick up a few more wickets and restrict Australia's lead they could well end the day on a high.
