Aus 221-6 (101 ovs) vs India 189 | Scorecard

Ashwin gets one to turn big as Marsh gets the edge but it goes past the slips for a couple and then he picks one.

In the next over, Ishant raps Marsh on the pads and all the Indian fielders close to the pitch go up in appeals. The on-field umpire turns it down and the Indians can only move on with no reviews in their kitty.

Jadeja comes back into the attack, with Ashwin, who has bowled 39 overs in total including 33 overs in the day, gets a break.

Wade comes across and paddle sweeps Jadeja fine on the leg side for a four before he keeps strike with a single from the last ball.

Umesh comes back as Marsh and Wade pick a single each to bring up the 50-run stand for the sixth wicket from 112 balls.

Umesh makes the breakthrough as Shaun gives his wicket away quite easily after working hard so long through the day. Marsh, who made 66 from 197 balls, chips a full delivery straight into the hands of Karun at short midwicket as India finally strike after a long wait of nearly 21 overs.

Umesh nearly strikes again in the same over. He induces an edge off new batsman Mitchell Starc but Saha can't hold on to a tough catch diving full length to his left.
