Three maiden overs on the trot by Ashwin and Ishant before Renshaw takes a single off the former to end the sequence of dot balls. Marsh is caught in two minds as he looks to leave the big turning delivery from Ashwin but then decides at the last minute to play it and nearly ends up dragging it back to the stumps.

Australia are 90 for two in 50 overs and are trailing India's score by 99 runs with eight wickets in hand.

Ashwin looking to turn the ball from outside the leg stump but Marsh sweeps it to the vacant fine leg region for a four. Two balls later, Marsh again goes for the sweep but misses and wicketkeeper Saha fails to collect to give away four byes which brings up Australia's 100, in the 54th over.
