| Scorecard

Welcome to the post-lunch session on Day 4 as Australia chase 188 for victory with five sessions still left in the play.

India need 10 wickets to level the series or else Australia will take an unassailable 2-0 lead and also retain the Border-Gavaskar trophy.

Ishant Sharma to open the bowling as David Warner hits the first ball on the off-side for one. Matt Renshaw edges the third ball which goes past the slips for a four before he defends the next two balls to end the first over.

Ravichandran Ashwin to start off from the other end. The first ball turns big but goes the other way down the leg side to Warner and beats wicketkeeper for four byes. He looks to sweep the next ball but is beaten before he chips down and steals a quick single to mid-on followed by two more singles off the last two balls.

In the next over, Warner turns Ishant on the leg side for a couple before he plays a nice straight drive off the fourth for two more runs. Ishant bowls a beauty to beat Warner outside the off-stump as the ball moves away enough to go past the edge. The Indians go up in appeal for catch behind but the umpire is not interested.

India are off to a quick start as they race to 18 for no loss in three overs, needing another 170 runs for victory.
