India 166-1 (38 ovs) & 172 vs SL 294 | Scorecard

Shanaka comes into the attack in place of Gamage, who bowled a poor last over. The openers collect a single each off the pacer before Perera bowls a maiden as Sri Lanka look to arrest India's scoring rate with some disciplined bowling.

Rahul seems to have lost his concentration and has been quite a few times. He tries to pull a short ball down the leg side from Shanaka but misses and is lucky not to have got a glove on that.

Dhawan now takes on Perera as he sweeps him behind square on the leg side for a four and then takes one to long-off to take his score into 90s and close in on another century against Sri Lanka.

Dhawan comes down the track to Shanaka but is beaten off the inside edge as Sri Lanka appeal for caught behind which the umpire gives out.

Dhawan immediately takes the review as he believes that there was no edge. But the Ultra Edge shows some spike as the ball passes the bat and Dhawan has to make his way back.

Dhawan is caught behind after a fine innings of 94, having hit 11 fours and two sixes in his 116-ball knock after he had put on a big opening stand of 166 runs for the opening wicket with Rahul.

Cheteshwar Pujara walks in at No. 3 as India opt against taking the nightwatchman despite stumps not that far in fading light.

Pujara manages to successfully defend the remaining five deliveries to concede a wicket maiden.
