India 12-0 (3 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

A confident Shikhar Dhawan strides out to open the batting with Rohit Sharma, who has struggled for runs in this series so far.

Tim Southee gets some extra bounce with the first ball as Rohit defends before he takes a single off the next to get off the mark.

Dhawan flicks a full delivery to fine leg for one off the next delivery before Rohit plays a cut shot but it is well stopped by the fielder at point.

However, the next ball is crashed perfectly in the gap past point for the first boundary of the innings.

Trent Boult to bowl the second over. Dhawan drives the second ball through the off-side but can't beat the fielder in the covers. However, three balls later he opens the face of the bat and steers a wide delivery square on the off-side for a four.

Rohit looks to guide Southee to thirdman but can't beat the fielder before he leaves the next two balls and then gets it to thirdman for one and Dhawan defends the last two balls.
