NZ 32-0 (3 ovs) vs India 337-6 | Scorecard

New Zealand face a huge task ahead of them as they chase a mammoth 338 for victory but the track is good for batting and the dew will impact India's spinners.

Martin Guptill gets off the mark with a single before Colin Munro smashes the first ball he faces over midwicket for a six.

He crashes the next ball through the point region for a four and then punches the fifth ball down the ground past mid-off for another boundary.

New Zealand are gifted another four runs courtesy of Virat Kohli who has a shy at the non-striker's end but no one is backing up as the ball goes away for a four.

A perfect start for New Zealand as they smash 19 runs from the first over.

Guptill edges Jasprit Bumrah but wide of the slip fielder for a single before Munro hammers the pacer back over his head for a four.

Jasprit immediately changes his pace and bowls a couple of slower balls which Munro defends.

Bhuvneshwar trying a few short balls against Munro but ends up conceding a wide down the leg side before the left-hander takes one.

Guptill then plays a cracking drive through the covers for a four before Bhuvi tries the bouncer and bowls another wide.

Bhuvneshwar has gone for 27 in two overs with New Zealand racing to 32 for no loss in three overs with Munro smashing 23 from 10 balls.
