South Africa beat India by 5 wickets by the Duckworth-Lewis method.

In a rain-shortened match, SA needed 202 to win off 28 overs by the DLS method after the break.

Miller (39 off 28) and Klaasen's (43 off 27) big hitting helped the Proteas to win and stay alive in the ODI series.

India's star spinners Chahal and Kuldeep were taken to the cleaners giving 117 runs off their 11.3 overs.

India lead the series 3-1.

Chahal continues and Klaasen starts with a single.

Phehlukwayo then comes down the track and hammers the bowler for a six.

Chahal bowls a wide and SA need just one run to win.

Phehlukwayo gets the win in style.

He hits a six over long-on for victory.

South Africa now need 9 off 18 deliveries.

Kuldeep back in the attack and Klaasen smashes him for a boundary off the first ball.

He then scampers for a couple to long-on and follows that up with a single to backward square leg. 

Klaasen then hammers the ball for a reverse sweep to third man for a four.

He then just goes down on one knee and lofts the ball over long on for a six.

Just when SA were looking like they were jet setting to victory, Chahal strikes! 

Miller is gone for 39.

Phehlukwayo comes to the crease and gets off the mark with a single. 

Klaasen keeps the strike as he takes a single off the last ball of the over.

Chahal continues and the batsmen are running the singles at will.

Short ball, Miller pulls and sends the ball into the sitting area at deep mid-wicket. That is another six.

They have got the man!

Chahal hits the batsman on the front pad and the umpire raises the finger.

Kolhi has made the bowling and brings Bumrah back into the attack.

Klaasen goes after the wide one. The fielder at deep backward point makes a hash of the effort and lets the ball slip to the boundary.

He then takes a single to bring Miller on strike.

The batsmen are batting smartly here, running for the quick singles.

South Africa need 42 off the last six overs to stay alive in the series. 

Chahal continues and Miller starts with a single.

Chahal bowls a wide ball.

Klaasen plays an audacious shot! He follows the wide ball and pulls it to backward square leg for a four.

Chahal then bowls a no ball and SA get a free hit. 

Klaasen dispatches that ball into the stands behind long-on. What a shot!

A wide ball and he takes a single. 

Chahal bowls another wide, this time down the leg side.

17 runs cone off the over.

Kuldeep comes back into the attack and Klaasen plays the scoop shot over the keeper and they get three runs.

Miller sweeps to square leg for a single.

Klaasen then plays a reverse sweep for a boundary to third man.

He then gets a single to backward point.

Miller then whacks a six over long-on! What a smooth shot! 

Klaasen plays the ball to mid-off, Kohli fumbles and the players run for a couple. 

Chahal continues and Miller gets two to deep mid-wicket

He then plays a single square on the leg side. 

Klaasen then picks the ball and smashes it through the line to long-on for a boundary.

Klaasen takes one run to point to end the over with a single.

Pandya continues and Miller now going after the bowler.

He hits the first four over long off and the next one through the off-side.

He then smashes the next one over deep mid-wicket for another 4.

12 off 3!

He then scampers for a single to mid-off.

Klaasen plays out two dot balls. 13 runs off the over. 

Chahal continues. 

Klaasen takes a run off the 2nd ball.

Miller gets a life. He has been dropped by Iyer at square leg.

Klaasen then gets a run to deep mid-wicket.

Miller tries to sweep and is done in by the wrong un? He has been bowled but was that a no ball? That is a lucky break for the Proteas and that is free hit. 

Miller hits it high, straight in the hands of Rohit at deep mid-wicket and they will only get a single. 

Klaasen comes to the wicket and gets off the mark with a single.

Pandya brought back into the attack.

De Villiers and Miller take just two runs off four balls and the pressure was mounting.

De Villiers pulls and sends the ball right into the throat of Rohit Sharma at fine leg, who was placed there to do the job.

Chahal comes into the attack.

The batsmen now rotate the strike. De Villiers then goes down on one knee and under the ball and hits a massive six over-on.

This time he hits a flatter six -- pulls the ball over deep mid-wicket.

Slightly wide, he chases it and gets a single to deep cover.

6 runs and a wicket come in the over.

Kuldeep continues and now he has the wicket of Amla.

The ball has some loop, Amla goes for the big drive, the ball lands straight in the hands of Bhuvi who first holds it and then flicks it in the air before coming back inside the boundary line to complete a good, catch.

Kuldeep then bowls a wide. 

De Villiers then gets a run to deep mid-wicket.

Miller gets off the mark with a four. He sweeps and sweeps well.

Pandya continues, starts with a wide. 

De Villiers and Amla take a run each.

Short ball and De Villiers smashes it over deep mid-wicket for a boundary.

He then comes down the track but doesn't get a hold on it. 

7 runs come off the over.

Kuldeep continues and Duminy cuts it through point for a couple.

Duminy out LBW for 10. He comes right out of the pitch and is hit on the pads. Kuldeep appeals,  the umpire raises the finger. SA can't appeal because they have lost their review after the wicket of Markram.

De Villiers comes in to bat and gets off the mark with a couple. 

He then plays a run down to square leg. Five runs and a wicket in that over.

Hardik continues, Amla plays and misses at a wide one.

Amla then cuts a fuller delivery through covers for a four. What a shot!

8 runs come off that over as Pandya bowls all over the place.

Kuldeep continues and 3 runs come in the over.

Pandya comes into the attack.

He starts with a wide and the batsmen take nice easy runs.

Amla plays to covers for a couple.
