Bhuvneshwar nearly gets Elgar in the same fashion as he did in the first innings, but this time the ball goes past the edge. He is beaten again off the next ball, but he manages to see off the rest of the over.

Bumrah drifts on the pads as Markram flicks a full delivery through midwicket for a four. A couple of deliveries later, he punches a wide delivery through the covers for a boundary as South Africa make a brisk start, scoring 21 from the first six overs.

The ball is not doing much as it was in the first innings and both openers look keen to make up for their failure.

Markram is beaten by a full delivery from Bhuvneshwar which moves away enough. But two balls later, he punches a short wide ball through the covers for a four to take the lead past the 100-run mark.

South Africa's openers have done well not to lose any wickets to take the score to 26 for no loss in nine overs.
